I grew up in a family that valued animals and have extensive experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, types, and personalities. I've owned pets since I was fairly young and tend to regard them as part of the family. I enjoy all aspects of pet care and strive to customize each sitting experience to the needs of the owner and pet. During the pandemic, I spent several months fostering cats through a local volunteer-network-based humane society, fostering several different rounds of cats, from kittens to seniors with complex medical needs. More than a pandemic hobby, fostering proved to be an incredibly heartfelt, rewarding experience. I took in cats who had recently been rescued from the streets/kill shelters/abandoned by former owners, which often involved quite a good deal of psychological rehabilitation alongside providing food, socialization, and caring for their medical needs. My approach toward my fosters was simple: they were strays (or otherwise abandoned), now they get to be spoiled. I'll do my best to apply the same care and philosophy toward your pets. I've also owned horses in the past-- in comparison, caring for dogs/cats is a piece of cake!
