Hello, I’m Lauren! I’ve been around dogs quite literally my whole life. My family raised Dobermans for show, and I’ve personally raised and trained two incredible male German Shepherds over the past 15 years. Since 2014, I’ve provided private dog boarding and training in California, Australia and Florida. My background includes working with puppies, active/working breeds, senior dogs with health ailments and dogs with specific training needs. I bring calm confidence, consistency, and deep respect for every dog’s personality and comfort level. I’m a firm believer in meeting them where they’re already at and letting them pace the speed from there.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Lauren! My son Joshua recently got Penny, and I have my dog Melo. We had been trying for weeks to get the two of them together before having to leave them with a sitter, but unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance until about an hour before drop-off. Needless to say, we were pretty nervous about how they would interact, especially since we were heading out of town on a business trip. Lauren did an absolutely wonderful job taking care of both of them. She kept us updated every day, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was especially great hearing that Melo and Penny were getting along so well. Lauren even commented that she was surprised they had just met because they acted like they had been friends forever! There were no mishaps, the dogs were happy, and the communication and care were excellent from start to finish. Lauren truly went above and beyond, and we couldn’t be happier with her service. We actually have another show coming up in November, and we will definitely be using Lauren again to watch our dogs. Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We highly recommend her!
Lauren was AMAZING!!! She updated with pictures and a cute video of my boys enjoying their time at her house. They both came exhausted and happy from all the play time. I would 100% recommend Lauren to all my family and friends.
Lauren took such great care of my Miles boy while I was gone! Her family welcomed my baby like he was their own and gave me such peace of mind while I was away. Thank you Lauren!
Lauren was absolutely wonderful! She was so kind, welcoming, & incredibly easy to communicate with throughout Charlie’s stay. Her messaging was great, & pick-up & drop-off were both a total breeze. Most importantly, Charlie absolutely loved Lauren & her daughters! It was so comforting knowing she was in such good hands & getting lots of love while we were away. We would absolutely trust Lauren & her family with Charlie again 🥰!
I am incredibly happy to have found Lauren and her family! She took amazing care of my dog, had great communication, and sent hilarious pictures of my goofy dog. Lauren was incredibly generous when my flight was delayed and I arrived back home, she was kind and said not to worry as everyone loved having Darla there. I want to recommend that everyone book her, but at the same time don't want them to take her availability! Highly recommend and will be rebooking any chance I get!
Lauren was an excellent choice for Marshall. I immediately felt her compassion for animals, and knew that he was in good hands. Lauren was responsive to all of my communications immediately, and kept me up to date with photos and commentary from beginning to the end of my trip. I will gladly seek out Lauren for future petcare needs.

Schedule
I work from home full time, which allows me to give your dog plenty of attention, routine, and companionship throughout the day. Your pet won’t be left alone and will receive regular walks, breaks, playtime, and affection woven naturally into our daily rhythm.

Safety, trust & environment
I provide care from my clean, pet-friendly home where your dog will feel safe, seen, and loved. I don’t currently have pets of my own, so yours will get my full attention. I only accept one dog at a time or multiple dogs from the same home. I live with my almost 4-year-old daughter who has been taught to respect, be cautious and gently interact with animals after she has been approached by them and knows them. She is remarkably attuned to their body language and boundaries. We’re located in a safe, quiet community with dog friendly parks in walking distance. Our large fenced yard is a great place for dogs to relax, play, or just soak up the sights and sun. I honor your dog’s rules from home; whether they’re allowed on furniture or need scheduled crate time. I use washable covers and keep a tidy, sanitized space. When your dog stays with us, they’ll be treated like family. I look forward to giving them the same love and care you do when you’re with them!
A typical day
I love engaging pets with stimulating activities like fetch, tug-of-war, puzzle toys, and nature walks. We'll also enjoy cuddle time, enrichment games, and plenty of play tailored to their energy level and personality.
