Hi! I’m Lauren. I’ve been boarding and caring for dogs at my home in Glassell Park for 9 years, and love creating a calm, homey environment for them while their people are away. I like for it to feel like their own little retreat. I keep things small so every dog gets lots of attention. I have a fully fenced yard with double-gated entry for extra security, a sweet mini schnauzer with big sheriff energy named Stevie, and a decade of experience with puppies, shy dogs, senior dogs, and everything in between. Over the years, I’ve shadowed and worked alongside trainers and behaviorists, and I really enjoy working with dogs on routines, confidence-building, and positive reinforcement. I naturally reinforce structure, boundaries, and behavioral goals while dogs stay with me, and I’m always happy to talk through anything specific you’re working on at home. Days here are usually spent hanging in the yard, going on walks, playing, relaxing inside, and being part of the little pack. Some pups love adventures and outings, while others are happiest staying cozy at home. I know leaving your dog with someone else can feel vulnerable, so I’m always happy to answer questions and set up a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure everyone feels comfortable.
