I currently work from home, so I am able to let the dogs out as often as needed for potty breaks or playtime. This also means they get love all throughout the day! My husband is a school teacher so he is at work during the week. We enjoy taking family walks in the evening after a days work.

When your fur baby is in our house we treat them as our own. We have a animal friendly home, allow pets on furniture, and have lots of toys to play with. We have water bowls and dog beds throughout the house. The dogs also love going in the backyard to play with us and run around. We just ask you bring the dogs food and feeding instructions. You are welcome to bring beds or anything your fur baby needs to feel comfortable, but not required. We have lots of beds, bowls, toys, etc. We do have a child born in 2021. She is very good with animals, respects their space, and knows how to approach new animals. She loves playing with them and loving on them while they are in our house. Please if you are unsure or aware your dog is not good with children, please identify an alternate sitter. Although our daughter is very good with dogs/animals, we want to ensure a good experience for both our family and your fur baby.

Let us know if your dog has any specific needs. Obviously we want to know the feeding schedule, but we also want to know how to best care for your pup. - How often do they need to go out - Do they need medications - Do they need to be fed separately? - Do they tend to get into things? Or chew up things around the house? - Do they need a specific amount of exercise - Are they okay with cats? (No worries if not, our kitty has her own room she can go in during their stay) - Do they require a crate when we leave the house? (We do not require crates, unless the pup needs it to feel safe or can’t be trusted alone 🤣😇) We want your fur baby to feel safe and loved while they are here.
A typical day
We play outside and let them run around, chase squirls, play fetch, enjoy playing with our pups. We have some snuggle time on the couch watching movies at night.

Pet care experience
My husband Justin and I have been married since 2018 and we have 3 fur babies. We welcomed our first child in March 2021. We love training, caring for, and loving on animals. Justin is a 5th grade teacher and Lauren works from home full time with an educational technology company. We would love to care for your fur baby like our own. Because Lauren works from home you pup can come in and out of the house all day and enjoy some indoor and outdoor playtime! We have 2 rescue dogs and one rescue cat who we love! Our cat has a home in the office with a baby gate up. No need to worry if your dog is not comfortable with cats, she can stay in the office with her cat tree and all the things she needs. she doesn't venture out from there much anyways. We would be happy to bring your fur babies into our house or stop in for playtime or a walk! Just let me know what your needs are and we will accommodate in anyway! I also have experience house training, and walk training puppies. We just request your fur baby is not aggressive as we have other animals and a small child in the house! I look forward to meeting you, and caring for your fur baby.

Lauren and Justin took care of our goldendoodle for a week while we were on vacation. I was nervous since it was my first time using Rover. They met with us prior to our vacation; after meeting with them they put our worries to rest. They did a great job with him and even sent us pictures during our trip. We would definitely use them again!
