Your pup will enjoy enjoy morning and evening walks and plenty of playtime on evenings and weekends! Lauren works a reduced work schedule and James works from home 1 day a week. Dogs do need to be able to be kenneled when we are away (up to 7 hours).

Our neighborhood has quiet streets, nature trails, and is just a few blocsk from White Bear Lake, so your pup will see a lot of walks with us! We welcome snuggles on the couch. We do not have any other pets. We do not have any children. We only accept one booking at a time. Dogs do need to be able to be kenneled when we are away (up to 7 hours).

Information Lauren & James V. would like to know about your pet
A meet & greet and proof of current vaccinations are required prior to accepting a booking. Because we only accept one booking at a time and do not have children or other pets, we can easily cater to dogs that do well in as the solo pet in an environment of just adults. Our former dog was dog-reactive so we also have a level of comfort managing that type of behavior. Dogs do need to be able to be kenneled when we are away.

Pet care experience
We lost our sweet angel, Presta, in 2025 after having her for 11 years. We are not ready for another dog of our own but look forward to showering your dog with affection, a regular routine, and worry-free care while you're away.

We felt 100% comfortable with Lauren and James taking care of Chloe. From the videos and pictures, it looks like Chloe had a great time with them and we would definitely like to book future stays with them!
Lauren and James were outstanding! They made my two chihuahuas very comfortable and my dogs warmed up to them immediately. They were very attentive and caring. They sent pictures and communicated throughout my time away.
Lauren and James were awesome dog sitters! I'm very picky about who I let my dog stay with and have pretty high expectations. They not only met my expectations but exceeded them! They provided regular updates and photos giving me peace of mind that my dog was in good hands. They were very flexible and accommodating when our travel plans home got derailed and they have to keep her an extra two days. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for someone to spoil their dog while they are on vacation.
Lauren and James did such an amazing job with our dog while we were out of town for a week. They sent awesome updates every day and such cute pictures. Winston felt right at home with them and they loved him like their own. He probably had more fun with them than he does at home! He came back fulfilled and happy. We will absolutely work with Lauren and James again when we have a trip come up.
