Happy Home Away From Home
We have just moved to Florida from our home in Minnesota. We were so fortunate to connect with so many amazing dogs and owners, and we look forward to offering the same care and love here in FL. We offer a safe, loving and comfortable space for your pet to find a home away from their home. My husband and I have spent our entire lives taking care of animals of all kinds and have never lived in a home that wasn’t multi-pet. We have babysat for many friends and family’s pets, some as long as 6 months. We have 2 adults in the home - one of whom works from home, so we are able to provide care any day, all day. This could be ideal for any animals with unique needs. Our home has a quarter acre, fenced in back-yard in a very safe and quiet neighborhood. Our home also has 2 levels to it, should any pet require their own space. All pets are allowed on all furniture. They will be treated like our own- like family. We currently have 2 dogs in the home - one male, one female, both spayed/neutered, both adults, both get along with other dogs of all sizes, both of our dogs are larger (65lbs +). We are very welcoming to any pets that may have special diet restrictions, even if that means cooking. We both have extensive experience in training puppies well into adulthood.

Piper loved her time with Lauren and Jacob! They sent lots of pictures and videos to keep us updated throughout the week. Piper loved making new friends but also getting snuggles and relaxing! We would definitely recommend Lauren and Jacob!
3rd stay with Jake and Lauren! Our Poncho loves his time with them. That big back yard, the playful pups, and so many snuggles are why we keep coming back! Love them. Highly recommend.

Lauren and Jacob were super flexible and great with my dog! He can be a little particular and needs a lot of patience, and they had him snuggling up to them and happy as a clam. He came back home tired and content. They even did a cute photoshoot with him and sent me home with a Polaroid 🥰
Wow! We cannot say enough about what a fantastic experience we had with Lauren & Jake! We have a wonderful, 120#, pup who also has epilepsy. That makes us extra cautious about choosing who he stays with, as he has lots of special needs that go along with his condition. They absolutely went above & beyond to take such loving care of Bob Marley-Blu and also to reassure us about his care and his well-being. From texts confirming med schedule, to photo updates, they made us feel so comfortable and confident in his staying with them that we were able to relax and enjoy our trip to watch our son play college baseball, which was such a priceless gift for us! We are so happy with how our pup’s stay went that we’re already planning our next trip! Thank you, Lauren & Jake, for treating Marley with such beautiful care and compassion!
Our Bailey boy absolutely loves going to Lauren and Jake’s. I never have to worry that he is being taken care of.

Schedule
We have two adults in the home and no kids. One of the adults works from home and is available to the pets all day! Evenings we are both home and have plenty of time to walk dogs, play with them and make them dinner. Weekends we are both free and available to have fun with the dogs all day!

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced in, half acre back yard with lush green grass in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. This lets our dogs run around and play all day. We have crates available in the home should a dog need one. We keep all dog first-aid supplies on hand should the need arise. We have an established relationship with an emergency vet should anything arise. Our dogs have been spayed/neutered and are completely up to date on their shots. Our home has 3 levels and a finished basement should any pet need to separate and have their own space. We have multiple baby gates in the house to give all animals their needed space if necessary. We have multiple Furbo cameras in the house to check on the pets should we have to leave. Our home is secured with ADT as an extra level of protection. Raised water bowls are available all throughout the house and outside, all day. We are happy to accommodate FaceTimes, daily updates, phone calls or anything else that would give you peace of mind while your pet is away.
Pets
A typical day
We will spend a lot of time running in the backyard, playing fetch, playing catch or any other fun activities your dog enjoys. We love to take long walks around the neighborhood, get lots of cuddles, pets and scratches. We will also cuddle and watch movies and tv together.
