Safety, trust & environment
To ensure the comfort and well-being of my own three cats, I do not offer boarding services for dogs or cats in my home. Instead, I provide personalized in-home care through 1–3 daily visits, allowing your pets to remain comfortable and relaxed in their familiar environment. For dogs who enjoy a little extra adventure, I have a fully insured and safety-equipped 2003 Honda Civic with dog seatbelt restraints. With your permission, I can take your pup on enriching walks and hikes along the beautiful trails at Emily Provincial Park, providing both exercise and mental stimulation while keeping safety my top priority.
Information Lauren J. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or requires additional care. I am comfortable administering oral medications; however, I am not qualified to administer injectable medications. For the safety of both your dog and myself, I am best suited to walking dogs 100 pounds and under. However if they are leash-trained and your large dog has good leash manners, I would be happy to welcome you as a client.
A typical day
I am a strong believer in providing both physical exercise and mental stimulation for every dog in my care. With your permission, I would love to take your pup on adventures to nearby parks, trails, and provincial parks, allowing them to explore new sights, smells, and environments. Senior dogs hold a special place in my heart. I enjoy taking them for gentle strolls at their own pace, and when they’re ready to rest, we can continue their outing with a relaxing car ride adventure so they can still enjoy fresh air, new scenery, and one-on-one attention for the remainder of their walk time

Taking care of your pets as my own
Pet care experience
My love for dogs began at a young age, and throughout my life I have naturally taken on the responsibility of caring for them. From daily walks and feeding to grooming, hydration, and training, caring for dogs has always been something I genuinely enjoy. For many years, friends, family, and neighbours have trusted me to care for their pets while they are away, giving me valuable hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and energy levels. I have a natural ability to build strong relationships with dogs and often incorporate training into my interactions, including heel work, recall, leash manners, and fun tricks that help strengthen the bond between dogs and their owners. My goal is to provide reliable, compassionate, and professional care that gives pet owners peace of mind. I am available Monday through Friday for dog walking services, as well as 2–3 drop-in visits between 5:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. each weekday.

Reviews
Lauren is reliable, communicates clearly, and cared for our dog during our hospital visits with kindness and attention. We felt completely at ease knowing our pet was in good hands and highly recommend her services.
Lauren is always reliable, communicates well, and treats our dog as if they were her own. Whether it’s regular walks or providing extra attention when needed, she consistently goes above and beyond. We have complete confidence in her and highly recommend Lauren to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and knowledgeable dog walker.
We have trusted Lauren with our dog for the past two years, and we couldn’t be happier with the care she provides. From the very beginning, she has been dependable, professional, and genuinely passionate about animals. Our dog absolutely lights up whenever Lauren arrives, and it gives us incredible peace of mind knowing our pet is in such caring and capable hands.
Lauren is amazing with my 3 pups. I use her every week because she gives me picture and text updates every walk. I will always choose Lauren as my Dog walker
