I currently work just minutes from home in an office, with hours from 8:30am to 5pm. Because of this, I'm available for pet care during early mornings (5:30am–7:30am) and evenings (6pm–9pm) on weekdays. I’m fully available on weekends for walks, drop-ins, and sitting. Living in the heart of Manchester means I can reach many areas like Ancoats and Piccadilly on foot, making last-minute requests easy to accommodate.

I provide a safe, calm, and enriching environment for every dog in my care. I live in a spacious, dog-friendly apartment with a commubal terrace. We are also next to angel meadows park! This is ideal for both small and large breeds to relax between walks or stay the night. I always supervise pets closely and stick to any routines they already have, making their stay feel like a true home-away-from-home.

It would be great to know if your dog has any quirks or preferences as to how they like to have fun, relax and play etc. do they like other dogs, are they good with strangers and so on. This just helps me make sure they aren’t in situations that could make them uncomfortable!

Activities can include anything from walks for sniffing, tug of war fights or even runs if that’s what your dog is into! I also make sure dogs are mentally enriched as well whether that be running through some basic training drills to keep them switched on or more breed specific activities.

I’m a reliable and friendly pet carer based in the heart of Manchester City centre, NOMA — just a short walk from Ancoats, Spinningfields, and Piccadilly. With a background in Zoology and a passion for both fitness and animals, dog walking and sitting feels like the perfect fit. I am also a a volunteer canine assistant for dog’s trust, where I provide enrichment and care for a range of different breeds! I have 1 year of hands-on experience caring for dogs and a strong understanding of animal behaviour and enrichment. I tailor every walk to your dog’s individual needs, ensuring they are mentally stimulated as well as physically exercised. Lauren is a saint. Our meet and greet went amazing, where Lauren came prepared and asked helpful questions. She accepted a very late dog walking request for my 10 month old male border collie. Saying he’s a handful is an understatement. She took him on a fun adventure to Philips park and went above and beyond in her care for him. Lauren’s really intelligent and adaptable, and I would recommend her for any dog :)
Lauren has been amazing with Havoc (the dog!!) she's been really patient with us working things out and had given her the little holiday she deserves while we were away. Lots of love and walks. Lots of consideration about the weather and getting adventures in before the heat of the day. And lots of reassuring photos showing her having a fantastic time. The best review I can give is Havoc was clearly happy with her and we'll definitely be using Lauren again!
It was my first time leaving my dog with someone outside of family, so I was naturally a bit nervous. But after meeting Lauren, I immediately felt confident that Lennie would be in great hands. Lauren even met me for a coffee beforehand to go through Lennie’s needs, which really put me at ease. From the moment I dropped him off, she kept me updated with regular messages and photos, and it was clear he settled in quickly and felt safe and well cared for. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Lauren again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter. Thank you so much Lauren xx
Lauren is amazing. She loves and cares for your dog as though they were her own. Our Ted took poorly and Lauren went above and beyond. She was amazing. She kept us well informed and sent pics. Will definitely 💯 be using Lauren again. A loving and very caring person. Xx
