Hi, everyone! My name is Lauren and I'm originally from Baton Rouge, but am currently living in Oxford, Mississippi. I have a three-year old Dachshund/hound mix that I love spending time with! She is a rescue dog, so I definitely will understand if your dog needs or wants extra love and attention. Because I live in a small apartment and I must be diligent about walking my dog several times a day, I am definitely more than capable of doing that for you. In addition, I often dog and cat sit for my friends when they go out of town. I'm currently a graduate student who is working towards my PhD at the University of Mississippi. I also tutor and work as a research assistant. While I am busy, my schedule is very flexible as much of my work can be done anywhere or anytime. I look forward to loving and caring for your pets!

I hired Lauren to watch my three dogs while my family and I went to the beach for the week. We have three dogs- two Shi-tzus and a border collie mix. One dog is a blind and deaf senior, one is an over weight pup who depends on his meds and one is a rescue who doesn’t like many people. We could not have been more pleased with Lauren. She treated our three dogs like her own and really went above and beyond. Kept us updated on how they were doing and didn’t mind us constantly calling and texting to check up on our pups. Thankful for her and definitely will be hiring her again!

In general, I would like to know how they generally behave. Are they lazy or do they generally get anxious? Both of the things would of course be fine, but it is helpful to know if a dog deviates from their normal pattern or behavior.
A typical day
I'm willing to go for walks around your neighborhood or apartment complex or my apartment complex, Lamar Park, the trails, or to take a visit to the dog park. Whatever you feel most comfortable with is fine with me!
