Lauren did an amazing job taking care of my dog and two cats! She was prompt, attentive and very loving with my pets. My dog gets some separation anxiety when we leave him at home and Lauren put him at ease - he was smitten with her immediately! I would highly recommend Lauren for your pet-sitting needs!

Au Pair For Pets

Need to get away but want your pets to stay? Do something nice for the furry kids in your life. Trust me to provide the TLC your pets deserve. My clients give me two paws up! Animals are my whole world. Ever since I was a young girl, I've had a great connection with them. I grew up with shelter dogs and once I was of age to start volunteering at the local shelter at ...

What Lauren would like to know about your dog

There are some important things I will need to know before I stay in your home and/or walk your dog(s). First and foremost, I need to know whether or not the dog is spayed/neutered, since I bring my male Husky with me, who is neutered. I also need to know if the dog is possessive of anything, such as the food bowl, toys, or certain treats/chews. Is your dog sensitive about being touched in certain places of their body. What are his/her likes and dislikes? How well do they walk on the leash and do they have any problems on the walk with other dogs. men/women, or kids? I always ask what the dog's daily routine is like, so I can adhere to it and form my day around their routine as much as possible. That will make them feel more at ease. I always have my clients write down the dog's feeding schedule and how much they are fed. I need to know if he/she is on any medications as well. I always ask my clients how often they'd like updates as well, and whether they'd prefer updates through text, a phone call, or email. When I stay over, I ask for phone numbers of the vet, family members, and neighbors in case of an emergency, whether it be an emergency with their pet, or their home. I also recommend notifying the vet in advance to let them know that their pet(s) will be under my care.
