I am typically a homebody and love to curl up on the couch with your fur babies. I keep things tidy while staying at your home and also help with plant care if needed.

I'm confident in keeping your fur babies safe while in my care. I love sending photos to my friends and family with their animals. I also am respectful of an individual's home. My mom taught me this - leave it better than you found it, and it's something I live by! If I stay in your home overnight for more than one night, I wash/dry linens upon your return, provide complimentary wipe-down of surfaces with sanitation wipes, and remove all trash. If needed, please let me know of additional care duties like tending to plants, taking in mail, etc., on those longer stays! I'm happy to help.

It is helpful to share what activities you do daily with your animals so I can make sure the schedule/activities remain as close to what they are used to, like specific parks they like or routes you take on a walk. Feeding instructions/medication instructions and their scheduled times are required, and I prefer to have all instructions for care written in the Rover app, especially if it is more than one pet. Also, if your animals are allowed treats, I would love to know how many and how often they are allowed. If there are specialty crates, muzzles, harnesses, or other special tools you use to keep your pets safe, I would love to go over this with you during the meet & greet to ensure I know how to use them properly. Also, photos are fun, but I don't want to bombard you with them if you're trying to focus on your day! I would love to know how many times you'd like to receive them during the day. Also, I want to learn the commands you use for your pets and what they respond to so I can use them. Finally, learning and understanding their reactions (negative or positive) to other pets, animals like squirrels/birds, children, or other people are extremely beneficial to providing superior care and safety for your pets!
A typical day
Pending your approval, I love to go on walks, visit dog parks with my friends, and visit dog-friendly patios. I understand each dog has its personality - so we'll discuss the details during our meet & greet! I have a car safety net for the back seat, a seatbelt, a comfortable dog pillow, a soft blanket for their comfort, and an adventure first aid kit.

I've always been an animal lover, whether it was cats, dogs, horses, reptiles, etc. I've cared for my own animals, friends, and family members' pets from a young age. I've had experience with dogs and cats of all sizes and breeds! I have great attention to detail and am punctual, energetic, friendly, and caring, and I will treat your animals and home as if they were my own.

Lauren was great! She house sat for our two dogs for a long weekend and as many reviews have said, the house was practically cleaner than it was when we left. The dogs were happy and she send several updates and pictures along the way. She was also very reliable and prompt with her messaging and.
We were gone for a whole week and Lauren made sure our socially awkward pandemic kitties could somehow still feel the love in spite of their own shyness- not an easy or straightforward task! Aside from this triumph of caring patience she kept the alley strays we regularly care for fed, cleaned throw up off the rug, and kept the house from becoming completely coated in litter and fur. We are so grateful for her skills and kindness, and were able to enjoy our time away with the peace of mind she instilled in us. Thank you!
