I have worked with animals in some sense or fashion my whole life. I grew up near a ranch riding horses and learning how to care for farm animals. I also watched neighbor's/ family friends pets ever since I was 10 years old, and I am comfortable with cats, dogs, as well as exotics. I started working at a dog daycare/ boarding facility when I was 15, and did that for 2.5 years. Once I turned 18 I started working in vet med, and advanced my skills to working as a veterinary assistant in New Hampshire, before moving to Nashville. I have previously been certified in both BLS and ALS pet CPR. Other notable experience includes dog training, pet grooming, and dog walking.

I have a dog of my own, so I understand the trust that is put into choosing a pet sitter, and how important your fur babies are. Whether I am watching a client's pet or bathing somebody's dog, I make it a point to treat every pet as if they were my own.

Lauren took extra time to hang out with Belle (who can be a little shy). Belle usually hides when people drop in but Lauren was able to bring her out. She was great at communicating, sent great pictures, and clearly took great care of Belle! Would highly recommend her :))
Lauren was great and took wonderful care of my kitties. She sent lots of updates and photos. Highly recommend her for any pet care needs.

I have personally worked with Lauren when she worked in the Veterinary Urgent Care as a Vet Assistant. She has had experience dealing with all kinds of animals. She has always given compassionate care and was always attentive to her patients. She treated each animal with kindness and as her own. Her background in both the veterinary field and animals in general makes her a great asset in working with Rover!
Lauren is a warm-hearted affectionate cat sitter. She provided such conscientious, loving care to my 2 sphynx cats and gave me total peace of mind while I was away on a trip. My cats have two different eating plans and one needs medication and it made me feel better to hire Lauren because of her years of experience in Vetinary Clinics and Pet Boarding Kennels. I always know when my cats were well-cared for by a Pet Sitter when I get home and they are content and calm. This was my exact experience with Lauren, I highly recommend her.

Schedule
I am currently a part time student, as well as working part time at a pet grooming salon. Most of my classes are online, and I work a few days a week (in the mornings) so my weekends are always available, and my schedule is quite flexible, given the few hours I am in school or at work. I do a lot of art in my free time, and spend a lot of time in or around my apartment, so I am typically free for last minute bookings.
