Lauren did a great job taking care of our dogs

"Wow! My husband and I were able to enjoy a few days at the beach knowing our two dogs were in Lauren's exquisite and professional care. She truly went above and beyond, nurturing and caring for our fur kids around the clock.Lauren kept us updated constantly with pictures and great communication, which made our trip so much more relaxing. We have three dogs and needed a sitter to stay with them in our home. Two of our dogs were strays and have extreme anxiety when we leave so it was very important for us to have someone be with them while we were away. We saw that Lauren was a star sitter and asked for a meet and greet. That went very well and she seemed very personable and kind. She was due to arrive at our house at 8:00 AM and at 7:59 we had not heard anything from her. I texted her to ask her if she was coming and she replied that she was almost there. She came in late without apology and we quickly ran through things we had covered at the meet and greet because we were anxious to get to the airport because of all the TSA issues that were occurring. I texted her at 12:03 to check on how the dogs were doing and she said they were doing great. She then left the house at 12:23 and didn’t arrive back until 4:25. I texted her during this time because I received storm warnings on my phone and my one dog is terrified of thunder. Also, I needed her to be with them because they freak out when we leave She replied that she had to take her grandmother somewhere and she cannot be at our house 24/7. I explained that I expected her to be there all day (that is what I hired her for) and after some back-and-forth, she replied that she worked on Monday and that yes, she could be at our house the rest of the time. I knew that she worked for a “few” hours a week per her profile and I was fine with that. The next day she was gone from 9:21 AM to 1:34 PM and I assumed that she was at work. Later, I noticed that she sent me pictures of the dogs twice during the time that she was away from my house. At the time, I assumed she was with my dogs at the house. The following day, I asked her at 11 o’clock how the dogs were doing and she said fine. She sent me pictures of them at 12:14 PM and then left the house at 12:18 PM. She returned at 2:43 PM. At 2:44 PM she informed me that she got her schedule mixed up and she actually did not work the day before and that she will have to work the next day. She told me she was at my house all day the day before. I told her I saw she was gone for four hours and that I thought she went to work. She informed me she did not go to work without any other explanation. She then left the house again at 4:51 and returned at 9:51. The next day she left the house at 7:24 AM and didn’t return until 4:35 PM. We texted her at 3:48 to ask her where she was because the dogs needed to be fed at 4:30 and I was worried she was not coming back. She did not reply. At this point, I arranged for some friends and family to come and take care of my dogs for the rest of the time because it is obvious she was not going to stay with them as she was being paid to do. When she returned to my house I told her to leave my garage door opener on the counter and ask her to leave. We also noticed that she got a positive review from prestige gymnastics on March 24 while she was supposed to be at my house with my dogs. We found her to be dishonest and felt we were being taken advantage of since she kept leaving for blocks of time after telling me she could be at our house with our dog. I suppose she felt she could do what she wanted since we were out of town. If you do decide to use her, I would make sure you have cameras to see if and when she is really at your house. You could be paying her to be with your pets while she takes other jobs. Or she may be sending you pictures of your pets while she is not even there.

Lauren did a great job with our dogs. I will definitely use her again in the future.
