Growing up with and sitting for lazy dogs, anxious dogs, barky dogs, and wild dogs (but not wolves) means I'm pretty prepped to handle any personality (caninality?), and lately I've really come to embrace the weirdness, the enthusiasm, the grumpiness, and the overall individuality of every pup. I've been looking after dogs for friends and neighbors since I was young, and love spending time with them even more now that I have dogs of my own who have shown me how individual and quirky and amazingly uplifting they can be. My most recent dogsitting experiences have been with dogwalking and housesitting, with breeds ranging from miniature schnauzers to golden and lab mixes. My dog Annie is a very good canine ambassador of your pup needs company on their walks!

I adjust my engagement depending on what your pet needs. I’ve watched dogs who wanted 6+ hours of activity per day, dogs who only want snuggles, and, once, a dog who’d had a traumatic experience with a skunk and just needed to sleep.

I met with Lauren, last minute, on a Monday afternoon. She and Penny, Cheagle (Beagle/Chihuahua mix), became fast friends. Lauren has been stopping in to take Penny for a walk and give her some dinner in the early evenings a few days a week when I work. Penny likes her visits with Lauren and is her silly self chasing bunnies etc. Lauren sends me pictures and updates on her after their visit. I think Penny looks forward to Lauren’s visits and I feel Penny is safe and happy with her.
Rebooked with Lauren! She’s so amazing with my cat, Meekhas. Let’s your pet come to her when they’re ready. Lauren is also reliable and communicative as a sitter! Highly recommend.
Lauren is a reliable, caring, and considerate pet sitter. She visited my home every other day to check on my cat while I was away for 2 weeks. During our meet-and-greet session, she was so patient with my cat when I first introduced them, letting my cat approach her first during the intros. Lauren is a natural with animals! And she always sent pictures during her visits, which I really appreciated. I’ll be coming back to Lauren for my future pet-sitting needs!

Schedule
I love dogs and cats and truly enjoy getting to know every critter I work with (or, I guess, for?). It’s my belief that pets should be treated like royalty, and their care will always come first in my day.

- I have experience sitting dogs and cats who need special care, be it issues walking, oral medication, anxiety troubles, or otherwise. I strive to make your baby as comfortable as possible!
