Hi! My name is Lauren, and I'm excited to be accepting new clients for dog walking and pet sitting. I recently moved back to Columbus after earning my doctorate in occupational therapy. As I prepare for the board exam, I have some flexibility in my schedule and am delighted to meet dog care needs in the area. I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) with years of experience working with a variety of dogs, and I'm confident in providing quality care for your beloved companions. My journey with dogs started long ago. In addition to my experience dog walking and pet sitting, I dedicated myself to raising service dogs in training and teaching program volunteers for years. This experience deepened my understanding of canine behavior and training techniques, and honed my ability to meet the unique needs of each individual dog I work with. I have also gained valuable experience advising kids in 4-H dog projects and judging 4-H dog shows. This role has allowed me to fine-tune my observation skills and develop a keen eye for canine behavior and handling.
