Hi, I'm Lauren, and I can't wait to fall in love with your pet. I take only one client at a time, and I have no pets of my own, so your dog(s) will have the place and me all to themselves. Many of my repeat clients are dogs who thrive best in a quiet home — dogs who have anxiety, are elderly, have a history of abuse or neglect, or just prefer to be in a one-on-one situation. I've been self-employed for 30 years, so I know how to handle responsibility. I show up on time and give 110% in everything I do. Being reliable and dependable is an important piece of who I am. Being an animal-lover is also part of my identity. I've had dogs and cats my whole life — plus a few birds, rodents, and snakes. I'm looking forward to meeting you and making friends with your pets!

We just had a fantastic vacation largely because we did not have to worry about our dog at all. Lauren sent us photos every day and we could see that she felt safe and loved. We miss her a lot, but we didn’t worry about her for a moment.
Lauren was wonderful! Our dogs loved staying with her. We could tell how comfortable and happy they were during their stay. Our opinionated Chihuahua fell in love with Lauren the second she met her.

Schedule
I work from home, so I'm usually on the couch with my laptop and I love to have a dog friend nearby. Having a dog around is also a great excuse to get out in the yard for regular breaks.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a kennel but only use it for dogs who are crate-trained at home. I also have dog beds, bowls, toys, etc. so all you need to bring is food!
A typical day
I work at home, so usually the dogs usually hang out near me while I work. On nice days, I work on the sun porch and leave the back door open, so my furry clients can watch the world go by and explore the fenced back yard at will. I have dog toys and balls for playing fetch, and I have a dog puzzle that I usually get out for them. I enjoy going for long walks with my dog friends, I think it keeps us both healthy and helps us get a good night's sleep.
