If we are boarding your dog, I have a fenced in backyard that pups love romping around in. Pets are welcome on our beds and couches and get treats a couple times a day.

I would need to know about any behavioral issues (food guarding, anxiety, hyperactive, etc). If we are boarding your pup would need to make sure our dogs get along before committing to boarding your pup. Our dog loves to play with other dogs in our backyard, and gets along with most dogs, but occasionally gets little man syndrome with larger more alpha males :)
A typical day
I work from home and luckily have a very flexible schedule to take pups on many walks a day. If the weather is nice we will sit outside in the fenced in back yard. We often take our pup on beach walks or trails like Savannah Preserve and happy to bring your fur baby on adventures too!

Hello! We moved to FL two years ago and I took a break from pet-sitting but am excited to get back to doing what I love. My love for animals started as a child growing up with dogs, cats, birds (and even hermit crabs :) My husband and I rescued a hound/lab mix from the Charleston Animal Society a few years ago and spoil him rotten. We are fortunate to both work from home and love taking walks with Tyler (our pup) several times a day. Our neighbors joke he gets the most walks of any dog on the block! Your pet will be in good hands with me as I am also a Reiki master and massage therapist and often find pets love energy work and gentle massage for relieving anxiety or achy joints. I am experienced in dealing with temperamental dogs (my own little guy has his issues as a stray) and also with administering medications and special needs dogs. I would love to meet you and your pet(s)! Note on Housesitting: My price includes all pet care (morning/evening routines, walks, etc.) in addition to staying over with your pet and taking care of your home. Rest assured, your fur baby will have all needs met and your home will be cleaner than you left it! : )

We couldn't be happier with the care our dogs received! Lauren was wonderful, dropping in every day to make sure our pups were happy, exercised, and well-cared for. She took them on fun walks, and we loved getting the sweetest pictures and notes each day, which really reassured us while we were committed to a period of long hours at work. It was such a relief knowing our pups were in good hands, and they looked so happy and relaxed in every update. Highly recommend Lauren to anyone looking for a caring, dependable pet sitter!

Okay so I’m now jealous of my dog-sitter! Mabel has never looked happier than when she is with Lauren. I don’t what it is but she has a secret formula to make my dog happy so I am so relieved that I don’t have to worry about her when I’m away. Thank you Lauren you are the best!!
