I’m new to Rover, but not dog sitting! I have had dogs my whole life and have cared for friends and family's pets. My 13yr old pit bull passed earlier this year, and I’m looking for a way to spend time with pups. Your fuzzy creature will be the only one, so will get alll the attention. Your social fur child can go everywhere with me and I can let them meet everyone! My boy was not great with strangers and we never did “on leash meetings” with other dogs, and I also took care of him while he was sick at the end, so I’m comfortable following whatever guidelines you say your pet needs to be safe and cared for. I would love to keep up whatever training you might be working on with a new (or old) puppy - I worked extensively with the trainer for my pitty!

Lauren was amazing! We trusted her immediately with our older pup given her experience. We could tell Thor felt right at home with her. Her updates were great and timely and she definitely cared for Thor as if he were hers. She noticed he had a bit of a dry nose and went out of her way to get him some balm to soothe it. We definitely will reach out to her to book again, Thor had a great time!
Kodie had the absolute best time with Lauren. They went on adventures, played a ton and had the best time. Lauren truly cares for each dog. I would love to have Kodie hang with Lauren again!

Schedule
I work from home on my laptop and really only leave for workouts, grocery store, and dinner plans. Sometimes I am gone for longer stretches, but can adjust to accommodate pet needs. I’ll send you pics and updates every day so you know all is well.

Safety, trust & environment
I want your pup to feel safe, calm, and cared for. Positive reinforcement only. I have a fenced patio we can hang out on, but the mail lady comes in so I couldn’t leave your pet outside alone. I do have a balcony upstairs if they are a sun bather. Just tell me what they need and we can make it work :)
A typical day
We can throw toys around the house, go for a walk on the Miami Beach boardwalk and at the park, treats (if you say it’s ok), belly rubs, naps, car rides. Little dogs are allowed on the couch (and honestly so are the big ones if they aren't hyper). I have a little park across from my house for quick potty breaks, love a long walk, and live near the beach with my boyfriend who is a dog lover.
