Let me know if your dog has any special needs. My own dog struggles with fear reactivity. I am happy to do my best to work with reactive and anxious dogs on a case by case basis. Communication between us is key, but all dogs deserve time, patience, and love!
A typical day
I cater days to the dog's individual needs. For high energy dogs, I like to take them on long walks or bike rides in forest preserves. I like to engage in puzzle and sniffing games to stimulate doga mentally and help train their ability to focus. If a dog is open to cuddling and relaxing, we chill together and watch TV. It's all individualized to their needs and personality.

I've taken care of dogs and cats for about 10 years. I have professional experience caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes in a dog daycare, and as a dog trainer.

Lauren has watched our chocolate lab, Buffy, many many times, over many years, often for several days in a row at our home and hers. Lauren knows so much about dogs, their temperament, their care, and how dogs interact with each other. You can tell she has done extensive research. Buffy just loves her and we trust she will care for Buffy as well, if not better, than we do! Lauren also gives us tips like “please brush her once a week” or “try switching more healthy treats”. Lauren is the very first person we go to when we need a sitter for Buffy.
