I'll gladly take dog kisses!
I spend my free time volunteering at a local dog rescue. I am a born & raised Midwesterner who is a true "Dog Mom." I am a retired teacher who has lived in SW Florida for five years now. I have embraced the Florida lifestyle even taking my dog out in a "doggy stroller!" I have been trusted to watch and care for friends' dogs and cats for days at a time or even weeks while they've gone on vacation. I love their pets like my own. I am picky about who watches my own dog, so I would like any pet owner to know that their little furball is in good hands while they're away.

My dogs have always had full run of the house except when I'm away and then they are put into a crate (mostly for their own protection so they're not eating or chewing on items they shouldn't!) or trying to jump on or off furniture. My dogs have always been treated extremely well. When I wake up early in the morning, my dog goes out first thing, gets a treat, then gets fed breakfast. We usually do a small walk. I take into account the age and wellness of the dog. I had an elderly dog who used to walk two miles every day, but then he slowed down a lot, so I adjusted his walk distances. I also adjust to the Florida heat! No walks during the hottest hours! I like to get out early and walk. Speaking of walking or playing - my favorite motto is: A tired dog is a happy dog!

Great dog walker and dog visitor! Lauren was dedicated to our Sally while we were away for two weeks. She spent time with her so that she wasn’t alone that whole time. Kept in touch and sent photos.

Lauren is very experienced with dogs. She is a volunteer at a local rescue and is a dog Mom as well. She is very patient and loving with dogs and is very dependable too. I have known Lauren for about 3 years and in my opinion she will be a great choice for a dog sitter/walker.
Lauren is a great pet sitter. She is knowledgeable but also truly cares for your animals. Her attention to details, follow up, and professionalism are impeccable. The love she has for this job and her clients is unmistakable.
Lauren would be an amazing dog walker/sitter! She’s a caring dog lover and I know from experience with my dog and her own, she would be a fun person for your dog to hang out with when you can’t be with them. She’s very attentive and a great communicator. She’s also all about safety and the reason my dog always wears a seatbelt harness in the car which probably saved his life a month ago when I was in a car accident! You can put your trust in Lauren! ❤️

Programa
I am currently available during the day and in the early evening. I am also available on weekends. I'm willing to discuss any specific time needs with pet owners as well. I am a self-described "early bird" which allows me to walk dogs when the weather is cooler.
