I prioritize understanding every pets needs and preferences so they can be as comfortable with me as they are with their owner. My experience with horses and large animals has taught me how to handle animals calmly and safely and make sure all rules are followed and checks are done to ensure animal and human safety and well-being.

Lauren was fantastic. She took care of our dog during a two day power outage, going above and beyond to keep us in the loop and even stacking fallen branches in the backyard. Our house and pup, were well taken care of and in great condition when we got home.
Lauren has watched our dog, Cadbury, many times over the years, including during extended vacations. She is always prompt when communicating availability, punctual with arrival times, and shows great care when providing for Cadbury's needs (including walking, administering medication, and socialization). Lauren gives us frequent updates, sends photos, and even handles small house-sitting chores like mail and watering plants. Her background as a dedicated horse owner further demonstrates her deep love and lifetime commitment to animals. I recommend Lauren as a pet-sitter with no reservations!
Lauren has been a pet sitter for our 2 cats for more than 7 years. If we go away, we know we can count on her for reliable and thoughtful care. Before we leave, Lauren verifies all instructions for routines, feedings, play time, emergency contacts, any medications, and home entry procedures. While we are gone, we receive updates (with cute pics!) as well as timely communication about any issues that may arise. She is knowledgeable about pet care and genuinely cares about animals' comfort and happiness. We are thankful for the TLC she gives the cats and for our peace of mind when Lauren is in our home caring for our pets.

Schedule
I am a current college student at the University of Michigan so have a variable schedule. I am available in the mornings before 10am, in the evenings after 7pm, and have varied flexibility during the week throughout the afternoon for dog walking and caring for pets between classes. I have open availability most weekends.
