I’ve had my own dog for the better part of a decade and volunteered at the seattle animal shelter for 4 years working dogs of all sizes and behaviors. The walks I go on with dogs are for them, not me. They set the pace! If there are behaviors you’d like for me to help reinforce on walks or visits, let me know.

I have one small dog who reads the room for play and lounge time when other dogs are present. I have a small unfenced yard that I use on sunny days with the dogs if they’re interested and for quick potty breaks.

Lauren has taken care of our senior dog and not-so-senior kitties, as well as watched our house and can unequivocally say we would use him again. They were attentive to all our pets needs while we were away and we knew our house would be safe and well kept. We would not hesitate to hire Lauren again to take care of our furry family and watch our house the next time we go out of town.
I am at ease and worry-free when my dog is in Laur's care. They are incredibly responsible, detail oriented, communicative, flexible to unique needs, and in tune with canine body language. Laur follows directions exactly as they are given, asks all the right questions, and best of all I always get unprompted updates/pictures. They have even from time to time helped to keep my plants alive. Having a reliable caretaker like Laur makes my life easier every time!
Laur has taken care of my dog many, many times and is one of the few people who makes me feel at ease leaving my dog behind. Whether it’s for a quick walk, a house stay at mine, or a sleepover with them, Laur is prompt, communicative, and transparent about expectations! My dog can have a somewhat finicky stomach, and Laur is great at handling his upset stomach. I can always trust that my dog will come back fully exercised, loved, and taken care of.

Schedule
I’m currently working part-time, so I have flexibility to be there fully for your pet when you’re unable to! I let the dog set the tone for the visit/walk. Want to sniff a lot? You got it! Want to sit in the sun? No problem!
