Hello! I'm Lauren! I'm laid back but responsible, and I hope to be the kind of sitter that makes your pets happy and you relaxed while you are gone. I've been known to cut short a vacation because I missed my pets too much, so I know how important it is to provide responsible, communicative care. I have worked in vet clinics for about 15 years- from kennel assistant to finally, in 2025, as a Certified Veterinary Technician. I have worked with all different breeds and temperaments of dogs. I have experience giving medication, injections, and re-enforcing correct behavior. Also, I have spent a lot of time giving patient, kind TLC. I don't mind taking a little time with a scared doggie, or working on scaling back a very enthusiastic one. I am a Texas transplant and have been in Veneta for about the past year. It's been an awesome year of exploring the Pacific Northwest with my little doggie by my side, when he feels like it. :) My goal is to make both you and your dog look forward to seeing me, and you to be confident that your dog is in good hands. I enjoy enriching the life of any dog around me.

Safety, trust & environment
Housesitting: Your pup will get at least 2 walks a day and multiple potty breaks. I do not typically stay overnight/ full time but this may be discussed in certain situations. Small house sitting tasks like watering plants, collecting the mail, etc should be no problem to include.

Lauren took excellent care of Honey. She sent pictures and texts everyday to communicate how Honey was doing. I could tell Honey was very happy and felt very comfortable with her. I would highly recommend Lauren and will be using her again!

Schedule
I am currently working on a relief basis, so my schedule is relatively flexible. I do ask for some advance notice for bookings because I may have a trip or hike planned. Quality over quantity will always guide the business I accept, since I would never feel comfortable giving less than the best care.
