I’ve spent the past 16 years as an elementary school counselor, which has helped me develop patience, compassion, and a strong sense of responsibility—qualities I bring to every pet I care for. I also have nearly three years of experience providing pet care through Rover, along with volunteer experience at an animal shelter. I’m comfortable caring for a wide variety of pets, including dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, parakeets, lizards, and fish. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pets with someone new, and I’m dedicated to making sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I also have experience administering medications and giving insulin injections, so I’m confident caring for pets with special medical needs. I’ve been a dog owner for the past 15 years and grew up with cats and parakeets, so animals have always been an important part of my life.

Pets are family, and I treat them that way. I stick closely to your routines and make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. When possible, I like to schedule meet-and-greets to get to know your pets and their daily routines ahead of time.

My cat has urine issue that sometimes peeing randomly everywhere in the house. Lauren not only took care my cat and she took care of my house too. She always cleans after the accident and I came home with no after mess to deal with. My cat loves her too, I found her relaxed with no sign of separation anxiety when I come back. I truly appreciate Lauren’s effort! Can’t recommend her more
Lauren is wonderful. She went above and beyond to take care of my Yoyo who has bladder issues. She is really responsive and followed all my requests. Yoyo loved her and enjoyed her time together.

Schedule
I’m available on weekdays before 7:30 AM and after 4:00 PM, as well as all day on Saturdays and Sundays. I can handle early-morning let-outs and feedings and can return right after school during the week. I’m off for most of the summer and have increased daytime availability in June and July.
