I have spent my entire life surrounded by animals, which has given me a deep understanding of pet behaviour across what I like to call both ends of the spectrum. Growing up, my family welcomed a rescue Border Collie into our home, which taught me so much about patience, high-energy breeds, and earning a dog's trust. Later, we raised a German Shepherd from a tiny puppy all the way through to her beautiful senior years before she crossed the rainbow bridge. Navigating that full lifecycle gave me invaluable experience with everything from puppy socialisation to gentle, specialised senior care. Today, my home is happily run by my three miniature Dachshunds and one very independent senior cat. Managing a pack of small dogs means I am well-versed in the unique quirks (and big personalities) of smaller breeds, while my senior kitty ensures I know exactly how to respect a cat's boundaries and keep them feeling safe and pampered. Whether your pet is a big bundle of energy or a gentle soul who just wants to snooze on the sofa, I have the lifetime of experience needed to make them feel safe and comfortable.

Because I provide care exclusively in the pet owner's home, safety and trust are my absolute top priorities. I treat every home I visit with the utmost respect, keeping it clean, secure, and locked up tight. When it comes to your pets, my years of experience have made me highly proactive about safety: Double checking doors & gates: As a Dachshund owner, I know how sneaky small dogs can be and how quickly they can slip through an open door or a loose fence. I am incredibly vigilant about securing entryways and gates before letting any pet out. Routine & health monitoring: Caring for a 17y/o senior cat means I am highly observant. I carefully monitor food and water intake, bathroom habits, and overall body language to catch any subtle signs of stress or discomfort early. Medication & safety protocols: I follow all medication and feeding instructions to the letter, ensuring schedules are strictly maintained. Emergency preparedness: Before you leave, I always make sure we have a clear plan in place, including your preferred vet's information, emergency contacts, and your pet’s favourite hiding spots. I also love sending regular photo and text updates so you can see firsthand that your pets are safe, relaxed, and happy in their own environment!

As a self-employed individual who works entirely remotely, pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine! Because my office is just my laptop, I am incredibly flexible with my days and times. For house sitting bookings, I can easily set up my workspace right from your home, meaning your pets will have consistent companionship, toilet breaks, and attention throughout the day rather than being left alone for long stretches. For drop-ins, my schedule allows me to easily step away to check on your pets exactly when they need me. As long as we coordinate with enough advance notice to plan my week, I can easily accommodate your pet's specific routine.
