Pet care experience
Former Vet Tech sitter
I am a former Veterinary Technician living and working in the State College area, available for part-time pet sitting. I have 8 years of experience in the field of veterinary medicine, the last 4 in specialty/emergency medicine. I have a life-time of experience with animals of my own, as well as years of pet sitting on and off. I love animals of all shapes and sizes with experience mostly with cats and dogs (some exotic experience). I am comfortable giving medications and caring for special needs pets. I have a fairly flexible work schedule that allows me to focus on this business more. If you have any questions about my availability, please don’t hesitate to contact me! I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

Safety, trust & environment
I try to keep the environment and routine as close to normal as possible to avoid stress, taking a little time to get to know each pet and their personalities.
Ratings and reviews
Communication was great throughout the weekend, and Lauren took wonderful care of both our pets and our home. Everything was handled responsibly and with genuine care. We'd happily recommend Lauren to anyone!

Lauren took wonderful care of our senior dog. From administering meds to taking walks, all of his needs were cared for. She let us know how things were going and took great care of our house as well! Thank you, Lauren!

Lauren was wonderful! Easy to work with, accommodating, and communicative. And most importantly, our pups were happy and taken care of! I would not hesitate to book again, and highly recommend!

Lauren took care of my little Pomeranian when I was away. She updated me with pictures and texts and was very flexible with the days and times we needed it.
I ask Lauren to watch my dog anytime my husband and I are going to be away for more than a day (the most recent time she stayed was for 10 days while we were out of the country). She has an obvious love of animals and Barkley loves it when she comes over. She is also a certified Emergency Veterinary Technician, so I always know that Barkley is in trained, caring hands if something were to happen while we are away. I would recommend her to anyone!
