We are available during the week or weekends. We both work from home. Our son is in school full time during the week and on evenings / weekends he loves to play with our visiting pups.

We have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space, and love to walk around town and know all the most dog-friendly places. They’ll never be out of my sight. We're also comfortable dealing with anxious dogs that would prefer to chill at home and in the backyard.

I love all dogs but all must be neutered or spayed for their safety. We appreciate if you can include flea meds details in your profile. (In the past, my vet told us that Frontline is no longer effective in N. Cal. It’s super important for your dog, my dog, and for us humans!) All dogs must be reasonably clean upon arrival. I am happy to give baths by request at an extra charge.

We spend all our free time outside and love to walk/run/hike around Sonoma. I know all the dog-friendly spots in town and anyone who visits us is a dog lover as well!

* I have been watching dogs on Rover for 10 years - please see my 60 positive reviews! * I do not increase prices for holidays, and have had several guests stay for over 10 days at a time. * I've been a lifelong dog owner and lover, and I am comfortable distributing medication, with elderly dogs, with dogs that need lots of exercise, and everything in between. * We have a very docile 15-lb male poodle-lhasa mix who LOVES other dogs. * My husband Andy (co-pilot in Rover sitting) and I are centrally located near Sonoma Plaza and love to walk for exercise. * We have a fully fenced backyard. * I treat the dogs we babysit like I do my own, do not let them off leash, and send multiple photos and videos each day to keep all owners up to date on all of our walks and adventures. * We have a 6-year-old kid who’s very gentle (ambivalent, in most cases) with dogs.

Lauren was so great about sending pix and updates on Toto’s day with her and Odin. Toto looked really happy and enjoyed playing at her house for the day. It was so nice to be able to go out for the day and not worry about rushing back for potty breaks. Thank you for making it easy and look forward to asking for your help another time.
Lauren and her family were so wonderful. I loved getting regular photo updates. Some of the pictures that came out were so precious! Moksha loves to be around lots of people so I'm really happy she got to stay in a setting where she had plenty of friends and attention.
