I currently work full-time from home (remotely) for a doggy daycare & overnight lodging facility, but love to give one-on-one care during the week & weekends to other pups needing some TLC when they’re away from their parents. I’ve been dog-sitting for 8 years privately for families during the week and over weekends, for daycare and/or overnight care. My favorite part is communicating with our parents about our playtimes and sending daily photos/videos. I’m available for private one-on-one daycare and overnight boarding! (2 pups from the same family maximum/day)

My partner and I have advanced training in dog body language, behavior, & pet safety, as well as feeding and medication administration if needed. We both come from a background of working with pups professionally.
A typical day
Coming from a household that loves dogs, I have plenty of enrichment toys, food puzzles, kongs for frozen treats (if permitted), lick mats, to keep pups active and enriched during their day. We have trails around our complex for our daily walks and a dog park (accessible for pups with updated vaccinations).

Pet care experience
Hi there, I’m Lauren! I’ve worked with pets and animals of all different kinds in local pet stores (birds, fish, reptiles, amphibians, & small animals), and I also have a background of working in a doggy daycare/boarding facility. In that facility, I was actively handling 15-20+ dogs at a time — now, I’m looking to get more one-on-one time to really care for dogs. I absolutely adore dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments, and would feel so honored to be able to help others with their furry friends’ needs. My family has our own beloved dog, named Duke (pictured in gallery photos), who we got as a rescue and trained ourselves. He is a rottweiler-golden retriever mix. He does not live with my partner and I, but we see him and watch him frequently for my parents! I have a special place in my heart for rescued/rehabilitated dogs!

We truly could not have asked for a better experience! The care and attention our little Dolly received was absolutely incredible, and it was clear from the start that she was in the best hands. The updates and the amazing photos meant the world to us. We loved seeing how happy, relaxed, and well loved our Dolly was. It gave us peace of mind knowing she was being treated like family. We are beyond grateful and would recommend Lauren to anyone.
Lauren took amazing care of Gracie. She loved on her daily and sent such happy photos everyday. We will definitely will leave Gracie with her again!
I was so worried about leaving my 1 year old pup for the first time when we went on a 10 day vacation. But then I met Lauren. My puppy immediately took to her and her home. She is genuinely a lovely person who loves animals and you can tell as soon as you meet her. She sent me pictures every day, gave me updates, and let me know my pup was happy and loved! I got him back clean, well fed, and happy. She also responds immediately with messages! I will definitely be booking with her again for dog sitting!!!
Gracie loved her stay with Lauren,they were very attentive and plenty of walk time and check-ins where appreciated.
