Safety, trust & environment

I know lots of local walks and I’m very used to finding quieter walks if that’s what a dog needs. I also know good busier areas for bits of dog training depending on the dogs requirements. I also live on private land with some secure fields so that is an option also.

Information Lauren C. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog has any special requirements or needs. Please be reassured it will not put me off as I’m used to all sorts. But I find it’s best for me to know so I can adapt if required and ensure we all have positive experiences.

A typical day

I have done plenty of different things with my own dogs from energetic to more calm sniffy stuff. I find each dog is different. So for the more active dogs running, playing and parkour. Using natural things like branches, benches and treats to do stuff similar to agility. But I find most dogs love a bit of scentwork! This is great to reduce stress or anxiety but is also way more tiring than a walk! So trust your pup will be suitably exhausted after our walk so you don’t need to worry!

Pet care experience

I’ve worked in animal rescue so I’m very used to a wide variety of dogs, breed and size. Also worked with a variety of needs also. I have my own dogs. One since a pup who was challenging and then became reactive. She is doing amazing now! And I have a foreign rescue who posed many opposite challenges so I’m able to adapt to the dogs needs. I have ten years experience in the nhs but I’m looking at going into a career with dogs now. It’s my main passion. I’ve been told I’m very calm and patient with dogs which draws many dogs to me. I have attended all sorts of workshops and classes with my own dogs including: puppy/adolescent classes, trick training, parkour, scentwork, mantrailing, barnhunt, Canicross, paddle boarding, agility and hoopers to name a few. I try and include things I think your dog may enjoy on our walks. I have completed many online courses from canine first aid, canine body language and behaviour and dog walking. I have also spent a lot of time observing behaviourists, trainers, walkers, vets, vet nurses, hydrotherapists and physios to gain as much knowledge and experience as I can.

Lauren was great. While we were at a wedding in a new area, she walked our dog and also popped back later to let him out for the loo again. She also popped by the evening before briefly to meet him first. She was very friendly and our dog seemed to enjoy her company and playing with her. Recommend.

I have absolutely no worries in recommending Lauren as a dog walker/sitter. She has regularly looked after my Jack Russell for me and this has included walking and overnight stays. My dog always comes home happy and is always very excited to see Lauren. Your pet will be in very safe, kind and gentle hands with Lauren she seems to be able to come best friends with any dogs she meets. She is a natural dog person and has always shown patience and kindness.

I have known Lauren for some while now and she has become a very loyal and trusted friend. She walks my Labrador for me on a Wednesday lunch time, while I am out cooking. She 100% reliable and has a wonderful happy and cherrie manner. She loves walking and will give food when required and always washs down and cleans up after the dog/dogs. I can 100% recommend her in every way, you will never regret having her to walk your dog/ dogs. It’s a pleasure to give this glowing testamonial. Thank you Sarah M
