Lauren here, an animal lover who chose to become vegetarian at age 3 (still going strong!). Thanks for checking out my profile. I've boarded many dogs at my Lower Haight home in the past, including shy and reactive dogs, and trained my own dog from puppyhood. I'm now focused on solo dog walking and drop-ins and would love to hang with your pup or take them for outings!

Pet safety is essential. I stay alert on walks to ensure your pet is safe from other dogs and other concerns. I don't let dogs off leash who are new to my services.

Lauren was awesome!! Dorie had the best time with her - lots of playing, belly rubs, and even treated her for her birthday! Lauren was incredibly responsive and sent pictures and videos throughout the stay. Dorie came home happy and exhausted (in the best way!). Can't wait to book her again.
As always, Jam came back happy and exhausted from her weekend away. Lauren has top notch communication and always sending updates and pictures/videos. She rocks!
Laika stayed with Lauren for the second time and had a blast. Lauren took Laika on a ton of fun adventures and updated me with lots of pictures and videos along the way. Thanks for another great experience!

Lauren was fantastic! We adopted our pup shortly before the pandemic and had never left her before, so were a little worried about how she would react. Lauren made us feel at ease and sent multiple daily updates throughout our week+ trip. She was willing to hand feed and try different methods of getting our reluctant girl to eat, made sure she had plenty of love and attention, and took her for lots of long walks and outdoor adventures. If you want to feel confident that your pup is getting great care, I highly recommend Lauren's services!
This is our second time leaving Jam with Lauren and she exceeds expectations again! Lots of detailed updates on their adventures throughout the weekend. Our shy pandemic pup pees her pants when she sees her (doesn’t happen with just anybody). Thanks Lauren! We’ll be back :)

Schedule
Available for walks from 9am-3pm on days I'm available in my profile. My work schedule is flexible, and I genuinely love spending time getting to know new dogs. My favorite thing is asking variations of “Walk? Outside? Out?” till I hit the right keyword and your dog’s tail starts to wag. I'll take regular photos of our time together and share updates with you.
