I grew up with dogs and cats my whole life, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I know how much your pet means to you, and I treat every animal I sit for like one of my own. I have hands-on experience with both dogs and cats of all personalities — whether they're energetic and need a lot of playtime or shy and just want some quiet company. I love getting on the floor and actually playing with them, not just watching from across the room. What sets me apart is that I bring the same attentiveness and warmth to pet care that I do to working with kids. I'm active, outdoorsy, and happy to take dogs on long walks.

Whether I'm caring for a pet in my home or yours, my approach is the same: calm, attentive, and consistent. In your home, I follow your pet's existing routine as closely as possible. I know that familiar surroundings make a big difference, especially for cats or anxious pets, so I keep things predictable and low-stress. I treat your space with respect and make sure your pet feels secure and settled the whole time. I stay in close communication with owners, sending updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. I take emergencies seriously, and will never hesitate to reach out if something feels off. Your pet's safety and comfort is always the priority.

Lauren was excellent! She communicated daily, sent photos, and seemed to genuinely connected with our girl Boots. Our pup had some activity restrictions the weekend she was watching her, and Lauren took lots of our suggestions, kept Boots mentally stimulated, and accommodated amazingly. She also left the apartment spotless when we arrived home! Will definitely book again and recommend Lauren. :)
Lauren took amazing care of all five of my pets while house sitting, and I came home to happy animals and a tidy home. One of my favorite things was the adorable photos. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing how everyone was doing while I was away. You could really tell she actually spent quality time with each of my pets and genuinely cared about them. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a pet sitter.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily life. I work a part-time at Hideaway Bakery which means I am very available and never have shifts longer than 6 hrs or at odd times. Whether it's a drop-in visit, a dog walk, or an overnight stay, I can give pets the time and attention they actually deserve rather than squeezing them in as an afterthought. Being active myself means dog walks are something I look forward to, not just check off a list. Pet care isn't a side hustle I picked up randomly, it’s something I've been doing since I was a kid sitting for neighbors' cats, and it fits who I am. I love for animals to be a part of my daily routine whether I'm working or not.
