TLC, belly rubs, walks & tug time!
Ever since I was a little girl we have always had a dog in the house so, when I turned 18 I adopted one of my own but after 16 1/2 years of loving her, I had to say good bye. Thus, sparked my motivation to help others care for and love their pet(s) when they’re in need. I have experience with puppys, potty training, leash & clicker training among other things! I love to execute play time and know the importance of expending energy. The dogs I have trained are very well mannered and learn to behave well around people and other pets & listen to commands. My friends rely on me often to dog-sit and I’ll often care for & hang out with their pets while they’re at work or out of town. I have experience administering medicine and taking care of them when they’re sick or recovering from surgery as well.

pet sitting seemed to be "OK", but would definitely not recommend for house sitting.
Loved the Rover card and photo update. Spent extra time with our pup to make him feel more comfortable, which we really appreciated
Lauren was very kind to take our last-minute booking over Christmas day and the holiday. She took care of our two cats and one dog along with house sitting and receiving mail & packages. She seemed very professional, and the animals were happy and healthy when we returned. Thank you Lauren!
This was the second time we’ve used Lauren and she was great! She communicated with us occasionally throughout each day. We will definitely use her again in the future
Lauren did a great job watching our dog after he required more attention after recently having a medical emergency that required greater care and Lauren was able to provide that and much more. She sent pics daily and provided us updates throughout each day. We will definitely use her again in the future!

Schedule
I work from home and this leaves me with plenty of time to take care of your pet and expend their energy with play time and walks. Please let me know if there are any commands or tricks you are working on so that I can do the same. I am available for boarding and house-sitting during the week and during weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
I do not currently have any pets so my attention will be focused on yours solely! Living so close to Sloans lake and various dog parks means that your pup(s) are getting great exercise and outdoor time (unless it’s too hot or cold for them). When it is too warm to be outside for too long I am making sure your pet(s) are staying hydrated and we stay active inside playing fetch, tug, and other fun games!
A typical day
I have toys for fetch and tug as well as various other bones (soup bones & antlers) that all the pups seem to just LOVE!! If your pup is still learning, I enjoy teaching them sit, stay, to give paw, to lay down and working on their leash etiquette. I have trainer treats that I use for these exercises but please provide anything specific you’d like me to use. I have experience in leash training so we can take multiple walks a day and spend down time with belly rubs and butt scratches while lounging around. Dinner time is always fun because afterwards we have play time and after a nice walk they can enjoy a bone or treat before getting ready for bed!
