Information Lauren B. would like to know about your pet
I do not have any breed preferences and I believe that all dogs deserve a chance at a good life. Regardless of breed, I do require a meet-and-greet to ensure that your pet is comfortable with me. For the safety of my own dog and cats, I am not able to board any dogs in my home. Before booking, I believe it is important to know how they behave in certain situations. Your pet's safety is my top priority, as well as the safety of other animals and people. During the meet and greet I ask a lot of questions which will give me better insight into your pet's needs and behavior. Some of the questions I may ask are: - Is your dog well trained? (leash trained, recall, etc.) - How many meals do they get per day? Any special treats? - Where do they sleep at night? In a kennel or in your bed?
A typical day
Trips to the park, walks/runs around the neighborhood, dog training or agility (please let me know your dogs commands! I love working with dogs to ensure they are getting mental stimulation too), playing fetch, going hiking, etc.

Pet care experience
I have had pets my entire life and grew up on a small farm with dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, ducks, and even sometimes quail! I am currently a full-time mom of 1 human child and 3 of the four legged variety. I have cared for a variety of different dog breeds and temperament's. I’m very active and would love to get your dogs outside on walks, runs, or hikes. I have always treated our animals like part of the family and I will treat your pet with the same love, respect, and kindness that I give to my own. My rates reflect quality - but affordable - pet care. I send a lot of picture updates throughout the day in order to set your mind at ease - I know how hard it can be to leave your pet while you're away!

Lauren was amazing!! She did overnight sitting for my two dachshunds and they loved her. Lauren watched over our pups for 11 days which is a long time and I never once felt worried. The pups were having the best time and were so happy in every update photo we received. Lauren was even kind of enough to help teach out little dachshund Millie with teething and gave great advice to help. 100% recommend Lauren. We will for sure be booking with her next time we are out of town. Thank you so much Lauren!!
Lauren was great for my young Boston Terrier. I appreciated how she watched him closely around other dogs until he got the lay of the land. I could tell by how tired he was that he had a very active day with Lauren! Much appreciated. I’ll use her lots!
Lauren took great care of Koby! He had an injury and she took extra care to make sure he was as comfortable as possible and communicated regularly to let me know how he was doing. I highly recommend Lauren!
