Availability
I am taking courses online, from home, so I have wide availability during the day or Currently I am working full time as a surgical technician at a local hospital. These hours are from 645am until 330pm: afternoons and evenings are my best availability currently. I will return to part-time work and wider availability beginning in October. However in home care (house sitting) works for me during this full time schedule if your pet can handle being alone for the work-day. I am available for longer periods of time (such as vacations or other reasons you may be out of the home) to do drop-in visits 1-2 times per day for cats or other pets that can handle more time alone. I am open to negotiating different care scenarios the more we get to know eachother.

If I deviate, even slightly, from what my cats expect of me, they have ways of letting me know they are unhappy about that! It is important to me to make your pet's care routine feel like they haven't lost continuity. If they normally get fed, walked, or have their area cleaned a certain way at a particular time, I will be there to help you maintain their routines, to the best of my ability, the same way you do.

A typical day
I love going to parks for Frisbee, catch, or chase. Long walks are how I get exercise too and I love having a buddy to stroll in nature with! Even a walk around the block for little legged friends is a great way to be outside together. If there is a thunderstorm coming we can plan ahead to do what is needed to provide comfort. -movie on and cuddles!

I've had and cared for pets of all kinds throughout my life. From horses and chickens to dogs, cats and Guinea pigs. Pets are more like family members with unique personalities, needs, and abilities. When you can't travel with your animals, it is important to have someone you can trust to look after them and the environment you all live in. I would love to help put your mind at ease by being available to bridge the gap between away time and your dog's normal routine of food, play, and walks. I can also make sure your cats have clean litter, full bellies, and reassurance that there is someone to attend to their varied whims. I am comfortable maintaining your pets supplement or medication schedule (for non-injectables).
