Availability
I work for myself from home, so I’m around most of the day and able to let the dogs out multiple times. I can also take dogs for a lunch walk on most days. Because I do have client meetings, I kindly ask that pickup and drop-off windows be 30 minutes so I can plan my day accordingly.

I need to know the overall temperament, energy level, and tendency to bark of your dog. Since I work from home, I need to have a relatively quiet space in the event of virtual meetings.
A typical day
I typically take an early morning walk around the neighborhood with my dog. Before the lunch hour, dogs will have a minimum of one yard time outing. During the lunch hour, we typically take a short walk. Dogs will have access to the backyard whenever they like in the afternoon, and will have at least one other dedicated backyard. After 5, we may go on one additional walk.

When in the care of my partner and I, pets are enriched and have plenty of opportunity for activity. If your dog enjoys swimming, I can take them to a nearby creek to play. I have a large yard for playing fetch, or just hanging out, and a spunky lab mix that is happy to play tug-of-war. I've always had dogs and cats, and for a short time, pet rats (they're lovely!). I come from a long line of animal lovers and continue that legacy. I am very attentive to animals and put them at ease so they settle into their home away from home.

I’ll leave as many glowing reviews for Lauren and Colin as I can! They just watched our dog, Haley, for 10 days and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Lauren is extremely communicative, shares several photos throughout the day, and asks questions if needed. I’m a worrywart but when Haley is with Lauren I’m totally relaxed. I’m lowkey worried Haley won’t want to leave all of her buddies and come home. Can’t recommend Lauren enough!

Lauren has such a calm and kind demeanor that is so comforting to both pet and pet-parent. I loved that she took my dog for walks in the park. That's such a bonus.
Lauren was wonderful! She is welcoming, accommodating and takes the most amazing photos of pets. You are in for a treat. I know Lola had a great stay and we can’t wait to call on Lauren again.
