Hi there! I'm Lauren, and I never leave the house without my signature accessory - cat and dog hair. I've always loved animals and their people, and I enjoy giving others peace of mind when they're away from their fur-babies, while also getting in a cuddle or two. I’ve cared for personal pets for about twenty years now, and have been petsitting for friends and family as a side gig for 16 years. I decided to branch out and join the Rover community as a contracted pet-sitter in 2020, and I’ve appreciated the extra support and safety cushion that both sitter and client receive from the platform. I personally crate my dog when away, but I've had past canines loose in the house as well. Either way, I make sure to let dogs out right away to potty, and I check the water and food situation right away. Then we get to playing, cleaning up messes, medication administration, etc.

This was our first time hiring a pet sitter for our 2 Belgian Malinois’ and we couldn’t be more pleased with Lauren! One of our pups can be very skittish and cautious around new people, so we were a little nervous about how he would do. Lauren did an absolutely fantastic job with him and took the time to earn his trust and make him feel comfortable. She was patient, caring, attentive, and clearly understood how to handle a dog with his personality and temperament. We came home to happy, well-cared-for pups and it was such a relief knowing they were in good hands while we were away. We highly recommend Lauren to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and genuinely great with dogs. We already have her booked again for our next vacation!! 🐾❤️
Lauren is absolutely wonderful and was very quick to communicate. She cared for my elderly dogs very well and easily modified their many medications with ease. Highly recommend using her for your pets!
Lauren is always my first choice when I need someone to check on my kitties! They love her and she treats them like family. We are so thankful for her excellent care!
Lauren is super friendly, and most importantly, Luna loves her! Lauren sends the best pics and of our girl.
This is our second time using Lauren and it was just as great as the first time. This trip away from home was much longer and we have a senior dog with arthritis. Lauren did amazing making sure our dog was comfy and our cat felt loved. We also have chickens and she made sure they were locked up safely at night and let them out in the mornings. A couple even escape the coop daily into our fenced in yard and she put them back in then pen each time! The report cards and pictures after each visit are so helpful!
Lauren was great and very attentive to details when caring for my Lab Sawyer who is 5 years old. He was very happy and healthy when we returned ! You could tell he was very well cared for while gone! Love the photos included an the details on his eating and potty habits! Thank you! We def use you again and highly recommend you !:)

Schedule
I'm a fulltime mom, so my pet-sitting predominately happens in the evenings on weekdays, and on the weekends I can be more flexible with my drop-in times.

- I am open to sitting for most breeds of dog and just about any cat, just let me know of any temperament details relevant to their care or any special needs they may have so I can provide for them accordingly. Any medical details help me know what their baseline is, so I can know if something isn't quite right. (ex: My cat throws up a little bile maybe once a week and that's not out of the ordinary for her)
