My first pets were Pound Puppies (remember those?), then at age 8 my family got a cute Maltese then later a mixed breed dog. At 18 I helped raise an abandoned kitten for a friend, but my mom and I became very attached and were able to keep him. Later, we got another cat to be a companion to the kitten and my mom found 2 more abandoned kittens for a total of 4. My mom was contacted that an Old English Sheepdog needed a home and this dog, Mr. Darcy, became my pet. I watched lots of Cesar Milan and taught Mr. Darcy every trick I could think of. He was with me through all of my 20s and into my 30s and lived to be 14. During COVID I helped a friend raise a pit bull puppy and was fascinated by all of the online puppy training advice. I also enjoyed helping my younger brother foster dogs and the company of their 2 dogs - a pit mix that was found on the highway, Buddy, a Shih Tzu named Lucy, and their chickens. I love getting to know animals and their adorable personalities and would love to spend bonding time with your pet. *In the event your pet becomes ill transferring care to medical boarding may be necessary since I am not a vet tech. A $20+ (depending on distance of facility) transport fee will be added. The full stay will still be paid since this then becomes a last minute cancellation. *I have to work a main job outside of the home and must be gone for approximately 4-8 hours as pet sitting is supplemental income. I follow all protocol, food, medication, walking and any other needs your pet may have. I follow the safety protocol outlined by owners including crating, keeping an awareness of weather safety, using a leash and harness, and taking pets to designated areas.
