My yard is entirely fenced in, sitting on almost half an acre. This provides tons of room for pups to run and play. My house is very dog friendly: pets allowed on furniture, things are "dog-proofed" so as to avoid any accidents or issues, TONS of chew toys and ropes and squeakers, with a great selection of dog treats and snacks. If a dog is staying in my home and needs to be crated if I have to leave, I have an XXL kennel to use for them. Guest pups can be fed with or away from my dogs. In your home, you tell me. I am very flexible. Whatever makes you feel comfortable and keeps your pet safe and happy.

A typical day
My dogs love to play catch outside and go swimming in their kiddie pool. Inside, they like to play tug of war with their ropes and we have a plethora of chew toys. So most definitely those activities! We enjoy going to dog parks and just going on walks around our neighborhood too.

Pet care experience
I am a proud dog mom to five rescue pups: Peyton lab/pit mix, Penny Aussie/pit mix, Lina Great Dane, Olive Rottweiler/lab mix, and Dexter hound/lab mix. I previously worked as a Veterinary Assistant while I was in school studying Veterinary Technology. I foster with multiple rescues when I’m able. I have plenty of experience and knowledge with dogs and cats of all ages. I know schedules can be busy and I'm hoping to help alleviate some of the pressure of taking care of a pup. Lauren did great with handling our sassy cat! Cheeto does not normally warm up to strangers and she was able to get him to love on her.
Lauren has worked with animals as a vet tech so she has lots of experience with emergencies and things of that sort. She is always my 2am phone call when I’m concerned about my babies. She’s also one of the few people on this earth that I would ever trust with my fur babies.
I have known Lauren for many years. She is an experienced pet foster parent. She has experience as a vet tech. She is a wonderful dog mom to her three dogs. She is a true pet person. I would fully trust the care of any and all of my three rescue dogs to Lauren.
Lauren has had a love for all animals from a very young age. While others prefer a night out, her preference is to lounge around with the pups on the couch. Lauren is the person who shows up to a gathering of friends and ends up on the floor playing with the dog - she is that girl. Now that she is an adult she has turned playtime - into saving lives; by fostering, rehoming, and taking in animals in need. She is the person most people wish they could be to help saving, protecting, and caring for animals. One would do well to have Lauren watching over their furkids!
