I currently work a lovely hybrid job where I go into office just once a week on whatever day I chose (never a Friday for obvious reasons haha). I’m a content creator so my work flow is really easy to manage and I have plenty of time for the animals that come over. My partner is also fully remote so the pets can also pick and choose between the both of us if they please, some even snuggle between us on the sofa🥹

I always let the animals settle at their own pace. We live just beside Hartham Common and the Cromwell road allotments which has a lovely walking option beside it, so we have two amazing options there for those who love their walks! I love to offer the animals enrichment options such as snuffle mats, licking mats and Kongs. We live in a spacious flat with no balcony so the animals will be completely enclosed, safe and comfortable with a range of sleeping options to choose from such as the sofa, a lovely orthopaedic bed, a cosy crate and the most popular choice… the floor😂

I am open to dogs of all shapes and sizes and have experience with dogs who may be anxious in a variety of different situations. It’s never a chore, it’s a pleasure for me to give the animals the best environment and entertainment.
A typical day
Days can be filled with enrichment games, cuddles, playing with toys, up to 3 walks a day and whatever keeps your furry friend happy. I alter my service to cater for each pet and their individual needs, as well as ensuring I am sticking closer to the owners requirements.

Pet care experience
I have had dogs all my life. Having grown up with a German Shepherd and a Border Collie, I have a depth of understanding that all dogs are different and have a great set up in my home to cater for everyone. I don’t just simply sit and give lots of love, I also gain an understanding as to what the dogs interests are; whether it’s extra long walks, fun enrichment games or lots of belly rubs, I am committed to making my space feel as much of a home away from home for the animals💖

Lauren was amazing with Nala! This was my first time using a dog sitter, and I honestly couldn’t recommend her more. Nala connected with Lauren straight away, but as she can be quite nervous, I really appreciated how patient and understanding Lauren was. She gave Nala the space she needed to settle in and feel comfortable at her own pace, which meant so much to me. I felt completely at ease leaving Nala with Lauren, especially as I’ve never left her with anyone else before. It was clear from the start how caring, calm, and intuitive she is with dogs. Lauren was absolutely wonderful in every way! She immediately connected with our 55kg Great Pyrenees, Alan, and had a calm, inviting and loving energy to her. She sent us plenty of pictures and updates while we were away and was perfectly fine handling Alan's routine of fish oil in his breakfast and his medication at night. And above all, as a person, Lauren was so sweet, easy to talk to and a kind human being. Absolutely would love to have Lauren walk or sit again. Our doggo would be delighted as well!
Lauren was phenomenal with both our four and a half month old puppy as well as our one year old cat. We received plenty of updates and it looked like both of our pets loved every second with her. I cannot recommend Lauren highly enough and we are extremely grateful for her and how she treated our pets. We would be delighted to have our pets stay with her again in the future.
