Having lived on a farm my entire life surrounded by animals, I have cared and catered for all, large and small. When I was a baby my mother got our first family dog and since then we have had many more over the years. I now have my own family and my own 2 fur babies to take care of. I have over 25 years experience of caring for dogs, I also used to help my friend out at a rescue centre when I was a teenager. Last year I casually started to walk dogs in my local village and I just knew that once my children were both at school this is something that I would love to do full time, as I am truly passionate about this line of work. I am professional and friendly, I do a meet and great beforehand to make sure your dog is comfortable around me. Also to sign paperwork/insurance ect. I offer solo and group walks, however I only ever take a maximum of 3 dogs out with me on group walks and these dogs have to have a good bond with one an other for obvious reasons, so I do introduce them carefully and calmy. For the first few walks I only walk solo, so I can gain trust from your dog and vice versa. I have my own leads, poo bags and treats and I don't charge extra for these (I've seen some dog walkers do). I live on a farm, so I do have access to private fields that others would not. (This can also come in handy if your dog doesn't get along with others) I also live near woodland and rivers, so I have a selection of lovely scenic walks to suit the seasons of the year. I provide updates and pictures of the walks, so you can see what we have been up to. I will walk in any weather condition apart from the obvious summer heat, I tend to go early on hot days and take doggies to the river or I offer drop in garden play dates if it's too hot to walk. I also offer pet sitting locally.
