I've been regularly dog-sitting for friends and family for about 15 years -- Spending time with and caring for dogs are truly some of my favorite things in life. I'm comfortable with any breed, all ages, and have experience with small, medium and large dogs.

Lauren did such a fantastic job watching Rush. Great communication, insightful questions, and really good at looking out for the little guy. Felt completely comfortable with her watching him and will for sure do it again if she's available!
Lauren was an outstanding dog sitter — she was great with Axel, was flexible, but also on time and punctual. She took the time to make sure my rescue dog was comfortable, and learned his idiosyncrasies. Would recommend her to anyone!
Nestle never wants to leave after a stay with Lauren!
Lauren was wonderful with our rescue pup Axel! Axel has some reactivity and isolation distress behavioral quirks and Lauren was great in being open in learning how to best care for Axel. We received updates and pictures of our happy boy during his doggie stay with her.

Lauren was super flexible to help me extend this stay when I had a last minute change come up. And Nestle enjoyed hanging out with her for a week :)

Schedule
I work from home full-time, which provides a lot of flexibility for a range of feeding and walking schedules. I’m more than happy to accommodate my schedule around yours to make things as easy as possible for you (and your pet’s needs!)

I have a cozy, two-bedroom apartment in the quiet, residential area of North Capitol Hill (technically Stevens area). My living room has very large windows that let in a beautiful amount of light. Dogs I’ve looked after in the past love to gaze out my front window and watch passersby while sunbathing. As for furniture, I'm very easy-going with it, it’s meant to be nestled in :) Your pet is more than welcome to lounge on my sectional or take a nap in my bed. I live a handful of blocks away from numerous parks: Volunteer, Miller, Homer Harrison, Seven Hills, Cal Anderson, etc.
A typical day
There are many open grass parks nearby to run and play fetch (Volunteer, Cal Anderson, Miller, Seven Hills, Homer Harrison etc.) I’m an active person so I'm more than happy to help your dog get some exercise. If there are specific things your dog likes (playing at the beach, extra belly rubs etc.), just let me know and I'm happy to make it happen!
