About Lauren A.
Communication
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
My specialty is working with shy or skittish kitties. I'm patient enough to get on their level, approach slowly, earn their trust, and let them know I'm a safe person. It's incredibly rewarding work. I'm also a sucker for the elderly pets.
Information Lauren A. would like to know about your pet
Let me know what activities your pet prefers, if there's any dietary restrictions, what commands your dog knows, and if I need to administer any medication. I will also ask for favorite hiding spots and if they're escape artists at all!
A typical day
I'm a big cuddler, but if an animal needs their space, I can sense that as well. Toys, treats, and enrichment activities are all included during our visits. Dog walking is also available!

Pet care experience
I've been around cats and critters my whole life. Right now I have my sweet Torti Twix and Noche, my mama's boy. I recently lost my soul kitty, Bronson, and would love to be surrounded by more kitties again. I used to have a leopard gecko named Pedro, so bring on your scaled friends as well. Rats, buns, whatever you have! I accept ALL dog breeds! Find me on Facebook at Lor's Pet Sitting! I also volunteer at a no-kill shelter called Focus on Ferals. I have experience humanely administering pills/oral medication. *Trained in feline first aid* A drop-in includes: feeding, potty time/litterbox cleaning, playtime, love & cuddles, enrichment activities, medication administration (if needed), light housework (sweeping, trash, counters, etc), and daily updates with photos/videos.

Reviews

Our cats can be difficult but Lauren was patient and awesome with both of them!

Always a pleasure having Lauren watch our cats! Great with photos and very communicative.

Lauren is always the best with my boy, she’ll always be our go-to when we need a sitter!

Lauren always takes great care of my elderly cat. She communicates very well about what’s going on with my cat during visits and about any time she might need to adjust our schedule.
