I want to hang out with your "kid"!
Hi there! My name is Lauren, and I am, and have always been, an animal person. I'm originally from Colorado, and just recently moved back to Denver after living abroad in London for the past few years. I have a dog and cat myself, who still remain a major part of my family. I’m currently on sabbatical from work, and although rest is a big priority right now, I also am looking to fill some of my spare time and meet some new four-legged friends. Years ago, I volunteered at a local shelter in the Emergency and Rehabilitation department, which is where I gained a lot of my experience with senior animals, medication application, and refined care-taking skills for animals that require a little extra TLC. I also helped out with a lot of their "happier" events, like the Furry Scurry, where hundreds of dogs and their owners gather at a local park for a communal walk to help support pets in need. I've pretty much seen it all -- so please don't hesitate to reach out and start the conversation! I always like to set up meet and greets prior to official bookings, so any individual quirks or needs for your fur-babies can be discussed then. A side note for house sittings: the nightly price does not include additional walks. Potty breaks and lots-of-lovin' is always included, but if longer, more extensive walks are desired, those will have to be booked separately. Please let me know if you have any more questions!

Since I am self-employed, I am very flexible in how I can care for your fur babies. For overnights, I prefer to house sit (as do the pets usually) but for the right pets we can discuss boarding. I have my own dog who can stay behind at home, or if the dynamic works she can join me and provide some additional four-legged company.

Lauren did a fantastic job getting to know our fearful/reactive dog! It was clear from her visit that Lauren knows a lot about dog behavior and is comfortable around all types of dogs. We will definitely be hiring her to take care of our dog in the future!
We are happy to have found Lauren and will be hiring her again. She was confident in watching our 70+ lab/mastiff mix and was patient with him as he got to know her during the week. He went from refusing to let her put his harness on and being stubborn about going outside to playful and happy to let her pet him. It is always nice to find someone who doesn’t mind working with your dog’s quirks.
Lauren is amazing! She had such a natural understanding of our old dog and his many needs, and we can tell she went above and beyond to take good care of him. She left our place in perfect shape, and Solo was tired and calm and happy when we got home. We highly recommend her, and we hope she's available to watch after Solo when we go away next!
Lauren was fantastic. She took great care of our dogs and cats while we were away. She sent photos and updates. She also left the house super clean. Highly recommend her!

Schedule
I'm currently self-employed and work from home, so I have a ton of flexibility in my schedule. I'm open to day sitting as well as house sitting. Whatever is best for both you and your pets.

- As much detail as you can provide about your fur babies will set us all up for success if you do decide to move forward with booking me for care.
