Availability
I’m available for drop ins. I have a flexible schedule but I’m also out of town one week a month so recurring schedules are not the best for me.

Safety, trust & environment
I understand animals. Each one has their own personality and will show me how they prefer to be handled. I follow their usual routine as shown by the owners with the understanding that they may act a bit differently especially if they aren’t used to caretakers outside the family. I do not care for other pets in my home because my dog gets a little jealous if other dogs come close to me. She has no problem smelling the many dogs I take care of all day. She just doesn’t want to see them.
Information Laurelyn B. would like to know about your pet
Just let me know how you want your baby taken care of. Any routine they are used to, any special needs such as ramps or diapers.
A typical day
Dogs I get outside to play or walk. If it’s raining we play some chase games to get the energy out. Puppies I take outside and inside several times so they can eat/drink, then have many opportunities to pee before they go back in the crate. Cats I see what the mood is that day. Everyone gets lots of pets if they want them.

Pet care experience
My experience with caring for other people’s animals as the neighborhood pet sitter started when I was around 11. Years later I graduated to in home care sometimes for 3 month stretches. I explored the idea of becoming a veterinarian or a medical DR but decided against both because I couldn’t separate my compassion from myself. Instead I became a human and animal chiropractor. I have been blessed to have gained experience with all kinds of animal personalities and enjoy taking care of all. Fish, cats, dogs, horses, farm animals. Reptiles I am still learning about. Birds… some experience. Absolutely understand how to care for young and old and in between. I’m currently in a Vet tech program just so I can learn more about my passion.

Reviews

Laurelyn is amazing! She loves our babies the most we could ask for! Pick her!

Laurelyn was wonderful with our cats. She kept us informed, and we really appreciate her.
Awesome, as always.

I booked Laurelyn, last minute booking to help me with my litter box issue as I am 3 hours away from home, and she was BEYOND HELPFUL! Asked her to fix the litter box and she even went ahead cleaned up the litter outside the box, changed my kitties litter and refilled their water! Beyond greatful she was able to help so last minute. Will definitely rebook in the future if I ever am out of town!
