A typical day

Fetch, playing with toys, recall training, enrichment activities, etc.! I really enjoy walking dogs and training them to walk beside and communicate with me! I find that the training of focusing can help with energy control as well. I love to walk (I’m sure your dog and I have that in common) and feel lucky that we live in an area with amazing parks and views!

Pet care experience

Hello hello!! I have been a pet sitter and a dog walker ever since I was kid growing up in the Pacific Northwest helping out my neighbors, and have adored animals as long as I can remember. I truly believe pets make us all better people! I myself have a very anxious border collie mix, and have spent the last couple of years training her to relax and trust me. I am patient, calming, and have e-collar experience if you choose to use one! With owning a high energy working breed dog - dog training was a high priority for me. I’ve learned a lot of skills and can happily take on younger pups or dogs that need a bit of extra support and time.

We’ve utilized Laurel’s pet care a couple of times now, and she is wonderful! She has been reliable, great with communication, and gives our dog plenty of love/walks/playtime. We’d totally recommend Laurel! 🙂

Laurel was absolutely amazing. Incredibly kind, communicative, and attentive with my boy. She was also super flexible when it came to some last minute changes due to travel. She even taught him a new command and helped continue his current training. I can’t recommend her enough. Thank you, thank you!!
