Pet care experience
I will house-sit anywhere within 30+ miles of West Plains (current clients are in Mt View, Rover, Caulfield, Ava and Thayer area). I have over 40 years of experience with dogs and other animals. For over 5 years while I lived in Texas, I was a foster home for abandoned and abused dogs, in particular LGD breeds. I also provided transport all over Texas and Oklahoma for rescued dogs of all breeds from minature dashounds to Mastiffs and Great Danes. As a farm owner, I am experienced in basic animal first aid so incoming medical issues don't phase me. I personally have had Pomeranian, Shih Tzus, Lhasa Apso, cocker spaniels, border collies, labrador retrievers, Great Pyrenees, and Anatolian Shepherds. Most were rescues, some were purebred pedigreed animals. All have had permanent homes with me. I love dogs of all sizes and personalities although will admit a particular fondness for the big long-haired breeds.
Reviews
Laurel came and did a meet and greet with my pups. She asked lots of questions to ensure she properly cared for my pups. When it came time to leave she was AMAZING with communication. She let me know about inclement weather and if she left them out to play or if she let them inside to keep them more comfortable. She came for every requested drop in and provided lots of updates of their behaviors, potty breaks, feeds and water and provided lots of great photos. I will definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone if you’re a little uneasy about leaving your fur babies at home!
Our two dogs are always well cared for by Laurel. We appreciate her so much!
