The longest I am on campus is for the 6 allotted hours on Mondays and Thursdays. When I am not home I have a roommate who helps fulfill the cuddle quota with my baby Rufus.

I have a small but fenced-in yard that Rufus loves to zoom around in and chase his toys or laser pointer at night. The railroad trail is just behind my house, perfect for walks of any length. I am also near the Sunnyland Elementary School where Rufus and I love to go play fetch and roll around in the grass. In the summers, the Sudden Valley marina is a MUST to go cool off in the lake and take a ride on my paddle board!

I love going on long walks with my dog Rufus while we listen to crime podcasts, share secrets, and play fetch! I would love to show your loved one around the neighborhood and to find new smells

Pet care experience
I have helped care for and watch over friends' pets since I was a young teenager. From twice daily checks in on my neighbor's cat to house-sitting for another friend's newly adopted kittens and asking to come back yearly. I have boarded for a friend's senior dog and babysat for a coworker's newly adopted puppy. Chillin' with other people's pets is my thunder dome. I have a three-year-old retriever mix dog named Rufus and sometimes my parents and I will do a dog swap and I get to care for their 10-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog Oly. He's my soul mate! I am currently a full-time student at Bellingham Technical College to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician.

Laurel is absolutely the best. She always takes great care of Zoey. She is great with communication, and always sends pictures and videos while we are away. We always look forward to her watching Zoey.
