Dogs have always been part of my life — I grew up with a Vizsla, which taught me how to care for smart, energetic dogs that need both patience and plenty of movement. I love spending time outdoors and often take dogs for long walks in the forest nearby. I’ve also cared for many types of dogs, from curious little puppies to cautious rescue dogs who need extra love and trust-building. I’m comfortable with larger and even unneutered male dogs, and always make sure every dog feels understood and secure with me. For me, being a dog sitter isn’t just about feeding and walking — it’s about giving each dog the right mix of activity, attention, and affection. German Hunde waren schon immer ein Teil meines Lebens – ich bin mit einem Vizsla aufgewachsen, der mir beigebracht hat, wie man kluge, energiegeladene Hunde betreut, die sowohl Geduld als auch viel Bewegung brauchen. Ich verbringe gern Zeit im Freien und gehe oft mit Hunden lange Spaziergänge im nahegelegenen Wald. Meine Hundeerfahrung ist sehr vielfältig – von neugierigen kleinen Welpen bis zu vorsichtigen Tierschutzhunden, die besondere Liebe und Vertrauen brauchen. Ich fühle mich auch im Umgang mit größeren und sogar unkastrierten Rüden wohl und achte immer darauf, dass sich jeder Hund bei mir verstanden und sicher fühlt. Für mich bedeutet Hundesitting nicht nur Füttern und Spazierengehen – sondern jedem Hund die richtige Mischung aus Aktivität, Aufmerksamkeit und Zuneigung zu geben

Ich bin begeistert von der Hundebetreuung. Laureen hat meine beiden Labradorrüden übers Wochenende liebevoll und zuverlässig betreut. Sie hat viele Fotos und Videos von den Ausflügen mit den Hunden geschickt. Beide Hunde kamen entspannt und zufrieden zurück. Ich würde die Betreuung bei Laureen jederzeit wieder buchen. Vielen Dank für die tolle Betreuung!
Wer eine Hundebetreuerin sucht, die fürsorglich, verantwortungs- und liebevoll ist, der hat mit Laureen einen Glücksgriff :) Laureen hat öfter auf unsere Vizsla Hündin „Emma“ aufgepasst. Wir sind sehr dankbar für diesen tollen Kontakt und können Laureen von Herzen weiterempfehlen. Egal ob beim Schmusen auf der Couch, tollen Spaziergängen mit und ohne Pferd etc.- Emma hat dort immer eine schöne Zeit und freut sich auch tierisch bei ihr ( und ihrem Mann oder Eltern) zu sein.

Laureen was the main carer for our family Vizsla, and she was truly devoted to her well-being. From training and long walks to plenty of affection, Laureen always made sure our dog was happy, healthy, and loved. She has a natural understanding of dogs — calm, patient, and reliable. Schedule
Deutsch unten :) I’m working from home two times a week (usually Mondays and Fridays). On these days I have a flexible schedule and can take dogs on long walks in the morning as well as around midday and afternoon depending on needs. Weekends I am flexible. German: Ich arbeite zweimal pro Woche im Homeoffice (meist montags und freitags). An diesen Tagen habe ich einen flexiblen Zeitplan und kann Hunde morgens sowie je nach Bedarf auch mittags und nachmittags auf lange Spaziergänge mitnehmen. Am Wochenende bin ich flexibel.

Deutsch unten :) I live in an apartment in Nordend but close to parks including fenced dog areas. My apartment is around 100m2 and offers enough space for the dog to find their own quiet spot if required. German: Ich lebe in einer Wohnung im Nordend, aber in der Nähe von Parks, darunter auch eingezäunte Hundebereiche. Meine Wohnung ist etwa 100 m² groß und bietet genügend Platz, damit der Hund sich bei Bedarf ein ruhiges Plätzchen suchen kann.
A typical day
Deutsch unten :) I like to take dogs on a long walks in the Forrest in the morning. For dogs that like other animals I take them to the stables as well (I have a horse) where they can freely around and explore (the area is completely fenced). For lunch walks I like to take them to a gated dog park so they can play with other dogs and run around freely :) for dogs that need a lot of exercise I’m also happy to take them on long runs! German: Ich gehe morgens gerne mit den Hunden auf lange Spaziergänge im Wald. Für Hunde, die andere Tiere mögen, nehme ich sie auch mit in den Stall (ich habe ein Pferd), wo sie sich frei bewegen und die Umgebung erkunden können (das Gelände ist komplett eingezäunt). Für die Mittagsspaziergänge gehe ich gern in einen eingezäunten Hundepark, damit sie mit anderen Hunden spielen und frei herumlaufen können :) Für Hunde, die viel Bewegung brauchen, gehe ich auch gerne auf lange Laufrunden mit ihnen!
