I have been a Rover pet sitter since 2016. Because I am retired, I can afford to offer lower rates, and because I only take one client at a time, your pup will get one-on-one attention. I take this job very seriously and will keep your dog safe and happy. My house is small with no steps, and my patio is fenced in. I have a small yard where your pup will be on a leash or a long cable at all times.

Lauranne was absolutely wonderful with my dog. I received frequent updates and photos throughout the day, which put my mind at ease. Lauranne was wonderful. So accommodating…we got lost and were over an hour late to her home. She was still gracious and welcoming. Sent us photos right away. Her house felt safe and secure. Thanks for allowing us to tour Shawshank without any worries. If we were in the area again, we would definitely reach out!

Schedule
I am available day and night to take care of your pet. I do require a 5-day notice and a Meet and Greet before booking, but once your pup is accepted, there will be no one more important than your pet when he/she is with me.

Safety, trust & environment
When going outside the fenced area, your pup will be tethered to a long cable in order to have some freedom to roam a bit (about 50 yards at most) under my watchful eye. I like to have written instructions from the owner on the care and feeding of your dog, which I will keep in a large binder for future reference. I also like to have current vet information for my file.
A typical day
Dogs rule here so I watch and observe what your pup wants to do, and then that's what we do. I am probably overly detailed because in the initial interview, I will take notes so you don't have to repeat everything the next time you drop your dog off.
