Professional Animal Care Experience
*My schedule is explained on my profile. Please review before booking, as I have a full time job that requires me to be away from the home for some time.* Nice to meet you! I've been in love with animals since I can remember. What started as an obsession with pups as a child has grown into a passion to care for critters of all shapes and sizes. I grew up with Coco the Corgi, Holly the Shih-Tzu, and Max the Boxer. Those pups really kick started my love of animals and laid the groundwork for the knowledge of animals I have today! I had also been hired by friends and family to watch their homes and fur babies while they were out of town. During the summer of 2016, I was employed at Oval Office Therapy Dogs, where I worked with poodles in training to become service dogs. For 2 years, I worked at a popular doggy day-care and boarding company of Atlanta. I am currently a zookeeper, mainly caring for large African mammals. However my love for domestic animals continues, so here I am! I'm now fostering a sweet senior kitty named Mr. Sir. If anyone is looking for a new cat to add to their family, feel free to reach out :) Through my professional and personal experience with animals, I have been able to love on pets of all shapes and sizes; from tiny fish to pups to horses and everything in between! I enjoy every moment I have with animals, and I will definitely treat your best friend as my own. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about me! I will always treat your home and your fur babies with love and respect. I always ensure that all pets are happy, healthy, and have access to everything they need. I understand the responsibility given to me when watching these guys and you can be certain that they will be given an endless amount of love when I am with them. When house siting I will always clean up after myself and leave your home in excellent condition. The doors to your home will always be locked, even if I am taking a short walk down the street. I do this to ensure the safety of your home and your pets, as well as myself. By default, I will avoid people and animals on walks. If your pup loves meeting people and has doggy friends, please let me know ahead of time so I feel comfortable allowing them to say Hi :)

LauraAnne was great! I highly recommend!
LauraAnne has been fabulous with our dogs. She has done four drop ins and one drop in a feed our three dogs. We did a few "getting to know" each other first where she met our german shepherd and our two senior chihuahuas. Our one 16 year chihuahua has specific needs and she followed those instructions to a tee. It didn't take long for our 94 pound german shephard and our barky chihuahua to get comfortable with LauraAnne and she was very gentle and soft spoken with both of them. We feel so fortunate to have found LauraAnne and look forward to having her stay with our dogs overnight in the near future.
Professional and reliable. LauraAnne looked after my fur babies over New Year’s Eve weekend and one of my kiddos has a noise phobia to fireworks, so I was very nervous leaving them here, but she made me feel very comfortable that they were in good hands. Would definitely book her again.
LauraAnne was our regular dog walker and dog sitter for nearly a year, and took great care of our dog when we're our of town. She did an amazing job, and our dog absolutely loves her. She's responsible, responsive and could always rely on her.
LauraAnne recently spent a week and a half with our 2 pups, tortoise and multiple tanks of fish. She was very responsive prior to booking and kept us up on how everyone was doing while we were away. Upon our return not only was everyone happy- it felt like we have never left (the house was maybe even cleaner than before!) By the way our dogs went searching for her the day after we came back I would say they may be missing her more than they missed us! We are so appreciative of the care she provided for our little family and our home.
LauraAnne really helped us out when we needed a sitter last minute. She was very kind and even gave her a little extra care when she got sick.
